Winter solstice reflection. This year homelessness has increased and families in some temporary accommodation cannot cook a proper meal and children are suffering rickets in a G7 country. Labour take note, we will be wanting a solution soon. Community kitchens are a easy and good start for all.

A brilliant couple of days with CEO’s and leaders across the homeless sector at the @homelesslink.bsky.social Leadership Summit. Connection, insight and shared ideas and at the Annual Members Meeting it was confirmed I’ve been voted on to join the Board. Then a 4 hour crawl up the M6!

In 1948 the principles of the NHS were simple. Make sure it has enough money and staff to meet the needs of the population, who all get equal access to top quality healthcare, protecting it from private sector motives. Those principles remain true today. We must stand together to save our NHS 💙
