People usually see the final artwork… but this is the messy reality behind it...... So many rough sketches, mistakes, and retries. Still learning every day and trying not to give up, even when it feels hard #artistlife#artjourney#growingartist#artstruggle#artwork #animationartist

Hey, I’m a small artist starting from zero..... Honestly it’s scary putting my work out there, but I really want to grow and improve. I make animations and art, and this is just the beginning of my journey. Let’s see where this goes #artist#gamedev

Ash 🐉 CHILD OF THE DRAGON @ashintheashes.bsky.social · 19/03/2026

i’ve been informed I need to cross post meme posts for Child of the Dragon. forgive me😔 Child of the Dragon is a queer YA contemporary fantasy with disability rep that’s kinda like if Eragon took place in the modern day but instead of a boy finding a dragon egg, a girl finds out she is a dragon

an aroaceflag background with character art of a teen girl with blonde hair. One is in a more serious style, she looks somber, and she's holding aloft yellow magic. The other is comical chibi emote art and she looks mischievous and is holding a knife.
There is a label at the top that reads "Kat"
The textposts read:
1) The secret is out. Aces are actually.... majestic dragons.
You fool....you absolute fool... this was a secret for a reason.
2) ask reads: What state do you live in?
answer: constant stress

a background of cinnamon rolls. There's a label at the top that reads "aaron," beneath it. There is character art of a teen boy with blonde hair. One is a more serious style, he looks slightly concerned and has a lacrosse stick from his backpack. The other is a chibi emote art of him waving and smiling. The textposts read:
1) normalize being out of the loop...like what is even going on lol
2) This wouldn't happen to me if I were a huge dragon

A red dragon scale background with a label at the top that reads "coleman" over two text posts and character art of a teen boy with red hair. One is more serious and he is holding up a blue flame of magic. The other is a silly chibi emote style and he is in the "fire elmo" meme pose with arms raised in front of fire
the textposts read
1. There is a fine line between being sassy and being an asshole and I cross that line everyday
2. "I'm the main character" girl you're the unreliable narrator

A bisexual pride flag background with a label that reads "jason" with 2 textposts and character art of a teen boy with long, dark hair and light brown skin. One is more serious and he is wearing a jacket over a hoodie and holding a sword. The other is silly chibi art of him looking unfazed wearing sunglasses that are relfecting fire. The text posts read:
1. It's been.... 6 minutes and 32 seconds since I last recieved any attention... its tough out here...i'm already starting to run short on supplies... i really might not make it this time....
2. I heard god is testing both of us at the same time wanna hang out?

David J. Stuart @djstu.art · 20/03/2026

A couple of excerpts from my pro-immigration romantic urban fantasy, Firewind's Accord! And this time, accompanied by more beautiful art from the fabulous @beatorichie.bsky.social ! Buy it here: books2read.com/firewindsaccord djstuart.itch.io/firewinds-accord 🌈📚📢📚 #WritingCommunity #IndiePub

A dark elf-looking woman in a modern blue blouse, ripped black jeans, and black combat boots with her white hair tied in a ponytail draped over her right shoulder stands on the left. On the right is the same woman, but wearing nothing but blue booty shorts and a rose-colored tanktop exposing her stomach. Her hair is unbound, and she is stretching and yawning like she’s just woken up with one eye open, looking at the viewer. At the bottom of the image is an excerpt from the book, Firewind’s Accord: “Is that him?” asked Lyrulah from behind.
Tyrlok quickly put the screen to her chest. “It’s nothing,” she said quickly.
“Bet’halem, I just caught you grinning like a fool at a picture of you and a human man. Until now, you and Jyntal have only ever spoken of one human you didn’t both outright loathe. It’s obviously not ‘nothing.’”
“If I’m grinning like a fool, it’s because of the smoke, and that I get to keep my job. As for him,” Jordan’s grin caught her eye again, “he is a colleague. Nothing more.”
“I understand,” said the former princess. “Well, do let me know if you bring this ‘colleague’ of yours home so I can drag my bed out to the living room.”
Without looking away from her phone, Tyrlok answered with pursed lips, “You’re lucky I’m too high to throw anything at you right now.”

A tall light-skinned man with long black hair and blue eyes in a gray hoodie, black tshirt, blue jeans, and black shoes stands with his hands in his hoodie pockets on the left. The same man is also standing on the right, wearing nothing but blue jogging pants and black shoes. His pants are slung low, the waistband off-kilter, exposing his right hip and his pelvic V. He’s well-built and looking at the viewer with one eye open, but he doesn’t look happy to be there. At the bottom of the image is an excerpt from the book, Firewind’s Accord:
Tyrlok took in his appearance in earnest for the first time: shoulder-length black hair that he had only recently started washing, as evidenced by the new scent of his shampoo; soft, sad, and heavy-lidded sky-blue eyes with dark rings around them; a long, pronounced nose, not unlike many Fandorell; and the beginnings of a beard bursting out from a decently defined jaw. His plain black t-shirt was just tight enough to show some definition underneath, and his forearms reminded her of Fandorell longbow snipers. They were renowned often for their accuracy as well as their appearance. She realized she had been staring for too long and came back up to his face.

A drawing of a half-Asian man in a gray hoodie and blue jeans with long black hair, blue eyes and an office badge on a lanyard around his neck. The lanyard is being pulled down by a shorter, dark-skinned elf-like woman with long silver hair pulled into a ponytail and dark eyes. She's wearing a silver necklace with a ruby pendant, a blue long-sleeved blouse, and black pants with her hand on her hip. They are framed by the outline of leaves and vines, and in the corners, L-R, U-D: a paper coffee cup, a black cat's head, a dagger, and a cracked smartphone screen. The title in the upper-right corner is Firewind's Accord, and the author's name on the bottom is David J. Stuart.
