The working class is more aligned than we think. It’s a shame we’ve been led to point fingers at each other. Our priority should be conversing with our neighbors and making it clear: we are against for-profit social programs. We deserve social safety nets that provide real value for our tax dollars.

My back went out this week; which is nothing new. The new part is that the doctor’s office staff have stopped telling me I’m too young for that to be happening. At least the lovely seniors at my water aerobics class still tell me I’m too young to be so broken. #fourtysomething

Adding to this: someone's non/verbal status is not the whole picture & you in fact cannot know how much someone's life is impacted by their autism by how well they string together a sentence Source: a pretty dang verbal autistic with other very profound support needs

While talking to my therapist yesterday about autistic masking, she asked whether I mask in our sessions. And like, yeah, but I can’t tell you that without unmasking. Which I believe, my friends, is the point. Sigh. #therapy #disabled #autisticmasking
