Going to dc tomorrow but will be gone by July 4 and missing all the ufc disgusting spectacle. I hate what Trump is doing to DC but it can be restored. The Kennedy center is a good start . What can be done about the awful ballroom . Can next prez just demolish it ?

Can't wait to listen ! Loved your substack about lawrence, my hometown . I worked for Kansas legislature which was always and still is very Republican and they called the university of Kansas, Berkeley on the Kaw (river) . Lawrence has always been what you see today - a blue dot in a Red Sea.

Citizenship is such a weird thing across the globe - I am a USA citizen because I was born here to legal immigrants who were naturalized 2 years after I was born. I am also a citizen of Ireland because my Mom was born in Dublin and a citizen of Poland because of my dad.

Yes I am probably the "radical" left and I am an middle class suburban woman, married since 1986 with two adult children and a granddaughter (my daughter has been married for 4 year). What makes us radical i guess is that we all have passports and we don't believe in God .
