What idiot on Tom Kean's campaign thought that that AI-slop gory eye mailer was a good idea? It's absolutely gross. Oh and kids get the mail sometimes. They're going to absolutely be freaked out by that image. As a matter of fact, so are some adults. I saw saw it and I am grossed out. #NJ07

Every time I see the word Kalshi, I think of the cereal brand Kashi and how much I dislike it.

I forgot how much I love this album (both their albums) from top to bottom. This song hits hard right now. #TuesdayTunes #music 🎶 youtu.be/q7yCLn-O-Y0?...

What if we turned parts of the NJ major highways into railroads and at every station, there are bikes/moped/golf carts to get around to local spots? (Early morning crazy town banana pants thoughts.)

This year needs to go away.

I hate how my brain is trapping me and I’m aware of it. I’m trying to fight back against it — work, counseling, meds, walks, distractions, but nothing helps.

Kellyanne @ellarebee.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

I hate how grief makes you painfully aware of every minute, every feeling, every nightmare, every dread, every everything. All of my friends are so supportive but I feel so, so alone. I hate that meds take time to work, especially since they are going to make me feel worse before better.

Kellyanne @ellarebee.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

IMO, yes. You're not giving the book the chance the other new books get and reducing the possibility that someone who wants or even needs to read it doesn't see it. It also, to me, demonstrates that the library does not have a substantive collection development policy/challenge form.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer scenes have come to mind during at least one, and what I think is now two, significant life events. The first? 'The Body'. Today? 64.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lfyja...

When will this become manageable? If I could take a year off and run away from it all I would, but I can't, so how do I do this?

Kellyanne @ellarebee.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

I used to love mornings. Maybe I will again. Consistently waking up with anxiety attacks and deep loneliness these past few weeks has been absolutely hellish. Grief sucks. I miss her so much.

I'm seeing Rutgers on my timeline yet again for embarrassing football reasons and can we please fire Schiano and disband the team? It's been 20 years since this experiment began. Literally 20. It's not happening.

...I found the first two Wimpy Kid books in Hindi, but the pair will cost $56 and I am not sure if they're in hardcover. HMMMMMM.

Kellyanne @ellarebee.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

I have the first three Wimpy Kids already purchased in Spanish and Arabic and have the Mandarin ones in a cart. This is what our shelf of 70+ copies of the entire series in English looked like today:

A photo showing two bookshelves, one devoid of books, with two magnets labeled "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" and "Awesome Friendly Adventues" and a blue card with a reading seagull that says "This seris is checked out! Visit the Children's Desk to place a hold!"

Kellyanne @ellarebee.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

I think if I could find / purchase Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Dogman in Hindi, Gujarati, and Tamil, I would cement myself as a legendary librarian in the community. (I have lines on them in Arabic, Chinese, and Spanish.) #booksky #librarysky #skybrarians #GLAMs 📚

I keep forgetting how many book-related accounts from the UK/Europe I follow. There are times when I wonder if I should move across the pond for a library job.* *Not happening. 99.8% not happening. Leaving the .2% possibility b/c one never knows. #booksky #librarysky #publibs #GLAMs #skybrarians 📚

What to know about Trump's 50% tariffs on Canadian goods that just went into effect

The new levies are expected to affect about 5% of Canada's annual exports to the U.S., roughly $20 billion in goods ranging from hockey sticks to agricultural products.

Uh, is the NJMVC still somehow using NETSCAPE software even though it went defunct EIGHTEEN YEARS AGO?! @mikiesherrill.bsky.social, I beg of you, the NJ government website software needs to be updated. What in the WORLD.

😍 S2 Benedict schooling his elder brother in the art of poetry (and Anthony stealing his brother's poem, CRIPES) #bridgerton

Kellyanne @ellarebee.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

Truly, Marina brought out the WORST in so many characters. Also, S1 is so much messier than I remembered. #bridgerton

Kellyanne @ellarebee.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

Side note: I also forgot how much I disliked S1 Anthony. I didn't warm up to him until S2.

000

Kellyanne @ellarebee.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

Anthony telling Benedict that he would be the head of the family after the duel and B taking on so much responsibility in S4...I just want to say that Benedict would have been the better viscount. Don't @ me!

Watching Bridgerton from the beginning in my grief spiral and I forgot how much Sienna and Marina annoyed me in S1. (S4 is far and away my favorite so far.)
