If rogue-likes are so good then where are the mage-likes and knight-likes?

When it comes to electronics, I’m what the Amish would call a “power user”

Anyways F Tarantino in this situation for being an ass, but he did help me to rediscover a phenomenal actor that I will be looking for in the future. I do not remember literally anything else about this movie besides this scene.

The Paul Dano/Tarantino drama that has been happening lead me to finding the name of a movie I’ve been looking for YEARS for. Dano’s scene in Little Miss Sunshine stuck with me emotionally for so long due to his performance and I could never recall the movie or actors name before now.

A Forgetful Gegnious(the second g is silent)

So the only two logical explanations are either I’m accidentally a forgetful genius or gnomes are secretly transporting my glasses for me. Not sure which yet.

Elken 'LKN' Cook @elkencook.bsky.social · 25/11/2025

My forgetfulness is a blessing and a curse. Left the house this morning and realized I forgot to grab my glasses before leaving. When I got to work my amnesiac ass actually left them at work and they were on my desk waiting for me

I have been having a GREAT time with Kirby Air Riders; my partner is loving it too. Every game mode is super enjoyable and the new solo mode is also super fun!

So glad Cyberpunk went on sale again so soon. I bought the base game during the summer sale but not the DLC, wasn’t sure how much I’d like the game. Well, I loved it so now that Phantom Liberty is on sale again I’m picking it up to continue my Joker play-through, lfg!!

After literally 20 hours of play time I finally encountered a glitch that made me jump out of my chair in laughter. A car casually spawned on top of my car, functionally blowing mine up and clipping it through the earth in the span of half a second. Absolutely freakin' hilarious.

Similar story with Witcher 3 (and Witcher 2 I think?) which were buggy messes on release turning into 10/10 classics after some extra years of development. I’ve learned to have a lot of faith in CDPR making amazing games but definitely not on release day lmao. Can’t wait to see this cycle continue!

forums signatures need to make a return at some point. I don’t care about visual clutter I’m trying to determine if someone’s post is worth reading based solely on how sick their art is.

Wasn't planning on getting one, but got a very sweet deal on a 9070xt and am very excited to see it in action for both personal use and recording.

An edited version of a comic originally made by Shencomix panel 1: man with oversized head says he has upgraded his graphics card. panel 2: different character asking the character in the first panel if they are playing new games. panel 3: Character from panel 1 contrarily stating that they are instead playing Genshin Impact, faster.

Personally, this would be a tough one for me because while I think TTYD contributes a lot to its genres, BOTW’s approach to the open-world style was such an all around home-run that it warped multiple genres in its shape almost immediately. So much love and attention to detail

I high key love a good Celsius, and would absolutely drink more of it if it were more accessible at work. Thankfully, it’s not immediately available so I won’t be tempted as often

Finally got caught up watching the Umbrella Academy, and all I can say is I REALLY love timeline shenanigans. Hopefully they will come back around for a season 5, but I respectfully understand the decision to stop at season 4.

As if my day couldn’t get just a bit stranger; someone called out to me while I was stopped in a turn lane and we had a short but amazing conversation about the Nissan Altima (GOATed car btw) before we had to drive off. Super cool guy!

Small update but he’s alive! He was warming up in the sun where I left him. Went to check on him during my break and he flew off without a problem as I approached. Very glad to see he’s feeling better.

Relocated what we think is a young red-tailed hawk(?) this morning that we found at work. We are hoping he was just cold, as he started moving more while he warmed up outside.
