Like looking into emeralds, goodness me!

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

I've been hearing so much about the upcoming cold, and brrr-rrrr, I'm not the greatest at handling the cold. Being from Tural, I can stand the heat quite well, but I have to bundle up more than a bear when it hibernates when it's time to face the cold!

I- Oh my. Oh my goodness. Oh my, I-

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 03/05/2026

I’ve been seeing so many of those adorable whale shark babies, but how do they flourish without being in water? Have they evolved to swim through the air? I should ask Villy about this…

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 03/05/2026

So long it’s for something good and beneficial, I’d happily do so! … It would depend on the size of the audience, though. The largest I’ve ever performed for was about 30 people. Any more and I’d get a bit nervous…

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

I- Oh. Oh my. They look quite- Oh, that eyeshadow is lovely!

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 24/04/2026

... Feels a bit nippy cold in the air, huh?

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 23/04/2026

Adalberta once said that 'it's criminal how cute' I am, but- That's not an actual crime, is it? The cute enforcers won't come and take me away, will they?! Who'll take care of my animal friends??? 😭😭😭

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 23/04/2026

I do get the occasional message on my tomestone of ‘click here to naturally enlarge your carrot’, but whatever would that mean? If I wanted a larger carrot, I’d go to the loporrits as they grow gigantic carrots all the time!

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 23/04/2026

I do like pins, they help with clothes mending or putting up pictures, but what does it mean to ‘pinup’- OH MY GOODNESS!

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 23/04/2026

Always! I do try to keep from imprinting on the animal so they can be rereleased once they’re better, but sometimes it doesn’t work out; Celeste and Torodoro being two examples, as I couldn’t help but give them attention and care!

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 21/04/2026

We’ve considered opening the Rising Stones to visitors so that the animals we foster get more socializing (and petting!) time along with donations to give them feed and treats. It’s been suggested I use the Solar as an ‘office’, but… Oh dear. I can’t help but think of Minfilia whenever I go near it.

It was a time ago, but here are two buns!

FFXIV gpose picture: Elja seater on a bed, with a closed eyes, happy expression while looking down at a small rabbit on his lap

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 10/04/2026

Ohhhhh, Miss Aurora! You look so splendid!

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

Better question is, what do I -not- like and enjoy about Erenville? I do so like how he tries to befriend the animals we foster at the Rising Stones, how he's open to trying any new recipe I learn, the way he hugs me whenever we meet or depart, and his eyes - Oh by Hydaelyn, his eyes are like stars!

Is this what Miss Tataru means when she talks about 'serving' and 'slaying' when it comes to fashion?

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

Yes! All my time as a Dancer means my aim is very much on point! ... When I'm focused, that is. I was playing some bean bag toss with friends outside once, and I had a throw that went poorly; I forgot to let go of the bean bag and boffed it right in my face!

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

The Hatching-tide festivities reminds me of when I had donned one of the bunny suits a time ago! ... Can a bunny dress up as a bunny? That'd be one of those 'recursive situations', I think miss Y'shtola talks about. Hmm.

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 05/04/2026

He's a skittish kitten, but I've been steadily introducing him to our other animal friends while rearing him by bottle. I believe he's grown enough to move on to solid foods!

000

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 05/04/2026

Lali-ho, everyone! I'm afraid my duties as an animal friend kept me away for a time! Miss Tataru recently found a stray kitten, and even with our best efforts, we couldn't find its parents or owner (if it had one), so we've taken him into our care! We've decided that 'Dusk' is a fitting name, yes?

Green or white teas! Anything infused with fruit and I’ll be sipping it all day!

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 10/02/2026

I’d be the blue and Erenville would be grey! I do love surprising him with gifts or a new recipe, so whenever I plan something, he gets that suspicious raise in his brow.

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 09/02/2026

Oh dear, are there any I -don’t- love is the better question! I do adore cacti hearts; think of them like a cucumber but with a very mild sweetness to them!

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 08/02/2026

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wasn't expecting to see Uvlo and Shunye at the Valentione celebrations! I was tired after helping with the cake decorating, but seeing them made me light back up!

FFXIV gpose picture: Elja pointing excitedly at Uvlo and Shunye with an exclamation mark sticker near his head

Very much so, though strangely, I’m not affected by spice very much if at all. Food that’d make others sweat is just a light tingle to me.

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 07/02/2026

Wondering if there are other nocturnal animal friends about. Celeste doesn’t have many friends to keep her company at night when we’re all sleeping. Maybe another owl, so they can share in hooting?

000

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 07/02/2026

Miss Tataru told me this joke would get me ‘big numbers’ but I don’t know what she means by that.

000

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 07/02/2026

A banana! Because I like to think I’m very a-peeling- to be around!

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 02/02/2026

The list is much too long, but Alisae comes to mind! She once thought I was much too meek, but over time she and Alphinaud helped to build my confidence and speaking publicly! That, and she’s fiercely protective when it came to anyone who tried to make fun of me for being awkward.

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 29/01/2026

Merry nameday (I feel bad for missing it since I was away)!

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 29/01/2026

One blanket and pillow is all I need! … Having Erenville to cozy up with would be even better.

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 29/01/2026

Surf is one that likes to join me, helping with distracting baddies or when I’m gathering stuff for camp or meals!

000

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 29/01/2026

I help to rehabilitate animals that are displaced, unwell or hurt, but the ones that can’t be rereleased get to stay with us at the Rising Stones! Dust the rabbit, Celeste the owl, Torodoro the sea turtle, Surf the seagull - And others!

Oooh, that makeup and hair on the last picture is- oooh. Oooh!

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 21/01/2026

Bard! You’d think with my enjoyment of dancing and singing and music that I’d be very good at it, but I can never get the timings -just- right.

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 20/01/2026

A pair of feathers one of my older brothers gave me! It’s… A bit of a long story, but I keep them at my home. If they were stolen, let me say this: I’d learn how to never need rest so I could find them again.

030

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 20/01/2026

I don’t like heavy armor, because as I usually dance or heal, I like the freedom of movement in lighter clothes, robes or skirts! Heavier equipment makes me feel all sluggish and bleh.

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 20/01/2026

I’ve recently learned all I can as a Monk! … Other than a new outfit. Since I changed my hair and makeup for the new year, I’ve been wanting to change my outfits as well, just I can never decide! I’d like to match the drip and fire fits others have! … Do people still used those terms lately?

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 18/01/2026

Now that the seikret baby is old enough that I don't need to watch it constantly, I do hope to be on Eorzeasky more and talking with you all! ... Just, ah, I'm not sure what to talk about. Nice weather we're having? Hmm.

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 18/01/2026

I've been racking my head for possible names for the lil' bird. For some reason, Pietro keeps coming to mind.

000

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 18/01/2026

Ahh, lali-ho, all! It's been a while, hasn't it? I've been playing mama- Er, papa to this seikret baby! Don't know if they're a boy or a girl yet, but they want from being so tiny to such a big, chatty bundle of fluff! And with the new year, I changed my hair and makeup!

FFXIV gpose picture: Elja in a dancer outfit smiling with scrunched eyes at the camera while holding up a seikret fledgling with its mouth open in a 'smile'.

I- Is it possible to say hi to myself?

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 06/10/2025

Many congrats! I've been keen on a Shirogane home, hopefully by one of the water sources!

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 05/10/2025

Not at all! I'll try anything at least once!

Elja Forrenoux @eljaforrenoux.bsky.social · 05/10/2025

I've found that Dust isn't as keen for travel as my other animal friends, but I make regular visits back to our Free Company house to spend time with him! Maybe I should see about adopting other animal friends that prefer being in one place...
