ESS and I had a great time at our signing at the Clocktower pub! I'm so glad folks liked the bundles. They were fun to make and oh so pretty! Obi was fascinated with the card printing process! My little printer goes one colour at a time, back and forth, and he watched it the whole time.

Birthday books from the Spaniel's Tale! Went in thinking I would get one and then when I couldn't decide, my partner was like why not all three? He's a keeper.

Look out for this tomorrow at the Clocktower Pub Westboro, lunchtime! (Minus all the mess in the background) (Also, yes, you read that right. Free Tourney Bond to good homes!! It's the only way to get the paperback, right from my hands!!)

Look where I'll be on Saturday! Come say hi! Bring your books to get signed or pick them up there.

My poor printer is not prepared for what I'm asking of it for this signing. Instead of printing four per sheet, it decided to print four sheets with a tiny image in the corner. It's okay! As long as you ask politely, it'll do what you want. (If you look at what I printed, you'll get a preview...)

Bundles! I have so many in-person event ideas, but I don't want to go too wild for my first one...what do you think? Bundle? No bundle? I love giving yarn scraps new life. If you've been around a while you might even recognize some of these...

The August Patreon bonus is long enough that it needs *this* kind of revision. It's called Taken by the Tiger and the Crocodile and it's a dark shifter romance. Yes, obviously very spicy. Get ready for *all* the content warnings. Join to get it as soon as it drops. www.patreon.com/c/ElizabethF...

I have no idea how I managed to not get a bingo here. So many delicious microtropes. I love the world and the cast of characters was awesome. Very promising start to the series, too. The ending was satisfying while still leaving the door open for much more interesting stuff in the following books.

Storms & Stitches is intimidated; these guys are big enough! No peccaries, unfortunately, but I did find a badger, lol!! And, of course the sheep <3 (Smallhorn, not bighorn, but pretty darn close!) A bonus, deep cut, from the Tourney Bond bonus epilogue...it's a loon/Canadian wolf-bird.

The Stash in all its glory! I think I missed my fall sorting last year. Since I'm not currently buying yarn, my stash has dwindled to only...three huge rubbermaid bins. What? It used to be *five*!! Yarn anxiety is real, lol! At least if I run out, I can take up my spinning again and make more.

Bingo! Great start to this series! I find sometimes the romance arc wraps up in the first book and then subsequent ones feel really forced. Not this one! The romance arc feels like its just ramping up and I loooove how delightfully messy it feels!! Book: We Who Will Die by Stacia Stark

Bugs! Storms and Stitches had fun in the insect exhibit of the Museum of Nature! Bees are so meaningful in their world, they should get to meet some live ones. We made do with dead for the time beeeeeing. (tee hee) They are very glad there are no birdeater tarantulas in The Lakes.

Storms and Stitches likes all the big swords we get to swing around in The Witcher 3....if you know what I mean... I am indeed aware that this game came out...wait, what? Ten years ago? Eleven years ago!!!??? Okay, fine I was not aware that the game came out *eleven* years ago.

Bingo, bingo, bingo! I think this is very first time I've gotten all four corners (my secret favourite squares). This was a rec from Katee Robert, and when our tastes align, they ALIGN. The way this book takes impotent rage and makes in visceral and concrete absolutely melted me.

More adventures at the Museum of Nature! Storms & Stitches found stones that match their cover. Lazurite and carletonite, both of which are found in The Lakes! A Tourney Bond was wondering if this glittery orange stones is what Katya calls "firestone". It's not; firestone is clinohumite.

Great visit to The Spaniel's Tale last week. Got my writers' tools! Get ready for some actual maps, the experimenting phase is complete! I can't wait to bring The Lakes to life for all of you. It'll be hard (mostly because my reference maps never have north up *shifty eyes*), but also fun!
Two books on my counter: The Emotion Thesaurus by Angela Ackerman and Becca Puglist and a brand new sketchbook. Water bottle with stickersin the background: "smutty romance book club", "my taste in books is objectively perfect", and "team whoever the villain is".

Took A Bond of Storms and Stitches to visit the mammoths!! (They can tell A Bond of Armour and Artfulness about it...they'll need it!) A Tourney Bond decided to tag along and rode the baby mammoth...the momma didn't like that very much; I almost lost Tourney Bond when she stole them!

Can you believe I drew this!? Still experimenting with the lakes and the lettering, but I think I've nailed the mountains. Swipe to see my *ahem* learning curve. I have received a few requests for a Syphon Bound map, so I'm going about it the same way I do everything: learning to make it myself.
