The problem with the iPhone as a serious video/filmmaking tool is the aggressive pace of change. The physical form changes every 3 years or so. Once it’s introduced, there’s like 4 months before the accessories that make it useful come out and then you have 2.5 years before they become obsolete.

My family is in crisis. Aaron, my brother in-law, suffered a massive stroke and died at 48. To make matters worse, he was my mother in-law’s primary caregiver. Mom has severe dementia.
