What is essentially an art dump. 1)Rhoan experiences auditory and visual hallucinations frequently, sometimes he understands them for what they are and can let them come and go without much disruption. 2)Rhoan and Taige cuddling 3)experiments with stone, flora, pen and marker #ocs #ocsky

Red head version of Rhoan in a chaotic display of lineart and ideas the artist mooshed together. Mostly smoking his pipe and hugging his favorite elf.

Strange noises have been coming from your bathroom lately, I wonder if you should take a look. #b&wart #inkdrawing #monsterart #horrorart #traditionalart #darkart

A traditional black and white illustration of two gangly humanoid mer-creatures in a bathtub. The larger one stands hunched in the center of the tub, doubled over at the waist as it braces itself against the tub with one arm, its other wrapped in a fist where it clutches the shower curtain. One leg is climbing out of the tub onto the tiled bathroom floor, its three joint structure more reminiscent of a frog's anatomy. It has black beady eyes sitting where a human’s would be, but several slitted gills that lay horizontally across its cheeks like gashes. Curly black hair spills from its head, wet and clumped together where it clings to its back and spills down over its shoulders. A fin structure with sharp prongs travels down the length of its spine, its unnaturally long torso displaying emaciated ribs. Behind the large creature’s outstretched leg, cowers its counterpart. Much smaller than the first one, the distressed creature grips at the shower curtain, pulling the fabric in front of it. The shower curtain obscures half of its face, as it squats, hunched in the corner of the tub.

Micron pens and hatching techniques were used to create the majority of the depth and shading of the drawing. Some screen tones were added digitally to draw a stronger focal point to the main creature.

One thing? How about what a memorable silhouette he has that makes him instantly recognizable and intriguing. Or the color selection from skin tone to hair to his eyes-his character design is extremely successful. Also, he's hot. I really like that about him

Paperback. I like writing notes in my books, curl the book and dog ear pages instead of bookmarks. When I'm done with a book, it's evident I'd been invested in it. If it's hardcover, I can't get myself to absorb the book in the same way.

First headshot from the Mutual-Request thread! Rhoan for @elitober.bsky.social ! Once again saw this "watercolour pad" is not great for watercolour as the paint started bleeding wildly even if I let the page dry for several days. 😂 I hope the colours are ok. My camera did not like this one!

Rhoan is an alternative name spelling for Rowan but now I can't find where the hell I sourced that information. I'm very tempted to update his name spelling to "Rhowan" because I'm not sure if I didn't dream that name variation up. But if I do that, will anyone know who I'm talking about anymore??

The thing about Hogwarts Legacy too is online friends would say:" yes I play this but I don't support Rowlings position ". I don't know if they don't understand that their purchase of Harry Potter is paying Rowling or just willing ignorance.

Oh yes, nice and cozy, ready for good creature comfort and snooze when Taige realizes that Rhoan snores like a bear and holds him like trap. Not least of which, he runs incredibly hot. Given no choice, Taige must find a way to escape Rhoan's cuddle-wuddle. #oc

ArtFight wrap-up + Mutual Headshot Giveaway! I want to make more, so... First theme is a colour: I made too much of this last guy's skintone and need to use it. If you have an OC which would use this colour on a headshot (skin, hair, shirt), show me! I'll paint some until the colour runs out. :)

Nine headshots I drew during the last days of ArtFight.

Featuring a colourful cast of people's OCs, some coloured with Inktense, some with pencils. All except one are smiling, and that one just doesn't smile because it's not in character.

We have mostly humans, an elf and, oh wow, three of them are vampires? Didn't plan that.

While it is still summer, I wanted to draw my OCs in swimwear, so here is Tay in a bikini, though she appears to have gotten a slight tan from her street clothes beforehand. #Art #OC #Tay

Tay, an OC, in a minimalist style.
She is a bunny woman wearing a bikini, mostly made from strings and only covering the most delicate bits.

That sounds absolutely fascinating and enjoyable study. And love the thought of a stack of books from a big library. And the rabbit hole is so real-haha it's amazing how topics can connect in ways you wouldn't necessarily think would connect at first.

130

Oof I totally get that. The more that sits waiting for me to finish, the more frustrating it is too😱

010

I do a lot of research and read lots of books from history to mythology to... whatever is even remotely related to the stories and characters I'm working on. Do you research and if yes, I'm interested to hear about your process and what you are reading and what your researching for. Yup I'm a nerd

I have new pieces that I hope to post soon but also I want to do a redraw of some of my older work. Not sure which one I'm going to try first 🤔
