Honestly, just really grateful that Moen decided to do it this year because now I get to fail to keep up with all new prompts instead of three year old ones. My thread for #ffxivwrite2026, and despite my grouching I am going to try and keep up with it. #sliverofglass

I could have sworn I did one of these myself but if I did maybe it was on the main account. Stealing the post from @floralchemies.etheirys.social and the gpose was taken by the inemitable @sheepskin.bsky.social

He was a Inquisitor who was betrothed and used intimacy as a replacement for emotional stability She was a voidsent who fed off of Aether who naturally was in the limelight but also understood discretion for survival Can I make it anymore obvious? (Gorgeous gpose by @sheepskin.bsky.social)

So we can't get to the 1.0 maps and the Calamity happened, but I do imagine Elish's home is this region on the path from the Coerthas Central Lowlands towards Lake Silvertear. The influx of people in that area was seen as a boon for the trade caravans that might move through that region.

Seeing the 1.0 Maps get shared reminded me of obsession with a playable TTRPG map of Coerthas. The idea was that people would be able to mark where their old territories were, before the Calamity. Of course, a part of the problem was trying to realistically scale for cities and distances.

It's simply gotta be the Miniature White Knight. I don't use minions a lot, but for the combination of Ishgard, fun in theory terrible in practice, and being designed/used by Charibert. Besides. Verminion but it's a Tabletop Wargame, your honor.

7. This is difficult! I don't often include venues in Elish's canon, but I was a DJ for the venue DICE (Drowning In Capitalist Excess), in which case "last song sung" would be "Lucky One" by Exo. Barding? DNCE "Cake by the Ocean" Actual singing in RP? Song of Oblivion from the Bard Questline.

Before FFXIV, before any of this, I was a kid reading about King Arthur in those abridged children's classics. I grew up. Horrors abound. There are no knights who will save us. But XIV let us play the heroes. Let us have reach beyond our limits. And sometimes, make other's days brighter too.

Best strategy: have one person grab all the aggro and let everyone else decorate the cake leisurely

I have had a carrd for Elish for two years. I have written his entire backstory out exhaustively on it. I once published it thinking I'd work on it as I went. Everyone made fun of me for this because it's art made by Peony's writer and I put it everywhere as placeholder art. I took it down.
