ישראל משתמשת בזכויות להטבים כתירוץ לכיבוש, אבל המצב לא בהכרח רע ביחס. הרבה מהזכויות של הומואים ולסביות הגיעו דרך מאבקים בבית משפט. והרבה מהזכויות של טרנסים קיימים בחקיקה משנית ולא ראשית. עוד משהו ששווה לציין שבימים אלו יש בר אחד בלבד לקהילה בתל אביב, הוא נסגר אחרי פגיעה מטיל איראני ורק עכשיו נפתח.
