Yeah i didn't even finish Witcher 3. I was playing it on ps+ but my discounted subscription expired so i might just buy the game to finish it! Yeah maybe Patch 8 will bring me back to the game too, i just go through big hyper fixation phases haha🤣

Speaking of crochet, i have a few things planned, and one is bg3 related!! It's a huge project (for me) so i need to get a few smaller projects done first...

Riley🌻 @elirey.bsky.social · 02/02/2025

Well i didn't do that at all did I lol. Although bg3 does still live rent free in my head, I've been playing other games with friends and getting back into crocheting and offline hobbies. I feel like i kind of limited myself to only bg3 talk here, so when i stopped playing as much, i stopped posting

#tavqotd Renestrae and Astarion are "Astrae" It's a bit of a play on the phrase "astray" seeing as they lost each other for so many years, in a way you could say that they were "led astray"

this genuinely helped re-light my creative flame again, it has been so much fun to create Renestrae's backstory, even if it's not the most original or interesting. And reading everyone else's stories as the month has gone on has been so inspiring!✨

#Tavember Bonus Day! I learned so much about D&D lore, often found myself getting lost down rabbit holes on wiki pages🤓 It also really helped with fleshing our Renestrae's Lore and i couldn't be happier. Thank you so much @renmasaoankoku.bsky.social for hosting this, it was amazing💚✨

(i actually haven't completed act 3 with her yet, i'm close, but i don't know their full final outcome!! But i do know no matter what, she would take time to reflect on it)

#Tavember Day #30 - Victory Renestrae wouldn't really celebrate the Netherbrain defeat; It would be quite bittersweet. They may have won, but how much was lost along the way? She would probably take an evening to quietly reflect on the journey from the comfort of her balcony, feeling ambivalent.

#Tavember Day 29 - Item(s) Renestrae treasures two items: a pocket watch-like mirror from her days following Sune, still special despite no longer praying and a jade crystal on a chain, held in a dragon casing. She’s had the crystal as long as she can remember but doesn’t recall who gave it to her.

#Tavember Day 28 - Flaw Renestrae's biggest flaw is that she has a huge need for validation, making it easy for Astarion to manipulate her at first. She's also quite impulsive, which is why she never liked leading the party; she certainly made some incorrect decisions on impulse in the beginning.

Renestrae early on in the adventure. She's looking towards something with an unsure look on her face, not sure if she's made the right decision, or if the others approve of her choice

#Tavember Day 27 - Song My favourite song for Renestrae changes every week and I have a playlist for her that's growing slowly. If I had to pick one over all song it would be "Euclid" by Sleep Token. I feel like it encapsulates her struggle with finding her love and lost memories again perfectly.

Astarion appearing as Renestrae's Guardian in her dream, reaching out as hand offering her help to stand up. The screenshot is in black and white.

Screenshot of song lyrics from "Euclid" by Sleep Token.

Just running forward, a life like wires
As I see the past on an empty ceiling
I play along with the life signs anyway
But hope to God you don't know this feeling
Yet in reverse, you are all my symmetry
A parallel I would lay my life on
So if your wings won't find you Heaven
I will bring it down like an ancient bygone

Screenshot of song lyrics from "Euclid" by Sleep Token.

Do you remember me
When the rain gathers?
And do you still believe
That nothing else matters?

Renestrae and Astarion holding each other on the roof of the elf song tavern at night. Screenshot is in black and white.

#Tavember Day 26 - Elemment I'm just gonna go literal for this one, Renestrae's element is Fire. She is of Brass draconic heritage so fire burns deep within her blood🔥🐲

Renestrae casting firebolt. There is a golden aura surrounding her as she evokes the flame.

Life is honestly too short to be embarrassed over anything that sparks even a little happiness in you. Be cringe. Be weird. Be enthusiastic about your interests. Don’t ever feel afraid of expressing yourself.
