The article states "While he has never starred on a scripted TV series, he did develop two animated shows in the ’90s. Murphy was behind Fox’s The PJs" Eddie Murphy voiced Thurgood Orenthal Stubbs. Phil Morris would replace him, but Eddie Murphy did voice him for most of the series.

I feel like living in this country is like that part from Tim Burton's Batman where everyone is afraid to wear cosmetic products because they don't know what will kill them. Except it's food and we don't have Batman to save us.

Might as well post it here! A magical girl animation I've been slowly chipping at over the weekends for ages.

Surprising VGHF Library addition of the week? GameSport, a short-lived 1995 sports video game magazine spun off from Slam, a basketball magazine by Harris Publications: archive.gamehistory.org/folder/a238…

Y'all ever be so tired when you're going to bed that you accidentally turn the TV back on?

I think the most depressing thing anyone said to me was my therapist saying, "There's nothing wrong with you you're having an appropriate reaction to everything that happening."

On the morning of May 12 at 10AM, a horribly destructive duo will show up on an island nine miles southwest of South City.

It'll take some time but it's not impossible. So if you're thinking about getting into YouTube and you have a story to tell or something to teach, please do. The world needs you more than ever.

Elijah Lee @elijahthinking.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

The next step is all about consistency. Making sure that your style is consistent and making sure you have consistent uploads. I don't care if it's once a week. Once a day or once a month. The goal here is to get regular uploads. If you can do those simple things your tribe will find you.

Because in a world filled with AI, the best thing you can do to stand out is to be human. Once you're able to be you and show that on camera that's the first step done.

100

Elijah Lee @elijahthinking.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

Just worry about being you. If you're dorky then be dorky, if you're a dude bro then be a dude bro, If you're someone who laughs at their own jokes while snorting, then laugh at your own jokes and snort. Whether you're white, black, gay, trans or non-binary be who you are and do so unapologetically

Elijah Lee @elijahthinking.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

My advice to you is that you need to be more yourself than ever before. Don't try to water yourself down. Don't try to hide yourself. When you turn that camera on.

Below are screenshots from AI Pokémon videos. They look cool I suppose. But they're from two different videos. They look like they could be from the same one. Because you can't really inject your personality into AI Which means your greatest asset is what it has always been "you"

110

Elijah Lee @elijahthinking.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

So what's my secret? Well unlike what the YouTube gurus like to tell you, there is no secret. There is no hack. There's just you. You being consistent and you letting your personality show.

Elijah Lee @elijahthinking.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

But despite this, I was able to get monetized and even have a decent amount of views on my videos. Keep in mind I have less than 3,000 subscribers currently

100

Elijah Lee @elijahthinking.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

Some of them even have views into the millions. This can be very discouraging. People who produce AI videos can produce them at a much faster output than someone who's not using AI. But even looking at these thumbnails you notice the cracks. They're different channels but they look the same.

Elijah Lee @elijahthinking.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

Both those videos are Pokémon documentaries. Where I talk about the making of Pokémon Red and blue and Pokémon gold and silver. If we were to search for "Pokemon documentary" on YouTube, we see a lot of AI videos. A LOT

Elijah Lee @elijahthinking.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

I make videos on video games, a very saturated niche that's more and more being taken over by AI videos.. The images below are from my video. They're not AI, they're CGI.

Elijah Lee @elijahthinking.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

Is there any point in attempting to be a Youtuber with the rise of AI videos taking over the algorithm and people's screens? The short answer is yes. It's difficult but not impossible. I'm not here to sell you something just to tell you my story.

We got "Motion Smoothing" 2.0 before GTA 6 😂 Forget the artist original intent because AI can make it better. Right? Right!?

There has never been a time in US history where a collaboration between the White House and a video game associated company would not be seen as cringe and tone deaf. Who is this for? Not for people like me and definitely not for the people who have been complaining about politics in games.

I see it today I can't wait. It seems like just from what I'm hearing is that he's treating it like a comic book reboot. Where they start with issue number one but they expect you to have some knowledge of those characters and throw you in the middle of the action. Do you agree with that?
