Good night. Sleep tight, dreamers.

I'm incredibly excited for Guild Wars 3 and am hoping they go back to the original style of finding skills in game and building that way. Seeing Abaddon and Dhuum on the tapestry with the good makes me think we're going to when humans first arrived on Tyria.

Have a friend with a kitty in need of some dental work while they're trying to recover from their own difficulties. Any help would be much appreciated for the ailing fella! www.gofundme.com/f/help-allis...

Dinner at a viking restaurant with possibly the best lamb I've ever had, then off to a bubble hotel where I managed to catch another Aurora!

Faint Aurora borealis over the horizon and some trees.

A couple of my favorite photos I got at the Viking Village and one of my lovely girlfriend at Stokknes in Iceland!

I wasn't able to get any super clean pictures of it, but thank you Iceland for putting on such a great light show in the sky tonight!

Got to do a little walking around in Reykjavik today and what an absolutely LOVELY city! Everyone has been super nice and hitting Blue Lagoon before driving in very much helped calm city driving nerves.

Hallgrimskirkja and the statue of Leif Ericson.

Time to start the drive to the airport for my flight to Iceland! Super excited as my first trip out of country in a long while. It'll be nice being in an lgbtqia friendly place for a week!

Finally bit the bullet and dropped Windows for Linux. Trying it Bazzite first since there's not much tweaking I care to do until I learn the system. May eventually jump over to CachyOS once I get more used to it.

God I feel spoiled seeing them two nights in a row at Magfest. Making every night feel like the finale and there's still one left!

Two of my favorite shows to see at Magfest along with the Protomen for three nights in a row!

Bit Brigade about to perform on stage at Magfest.

The Megas perfuming on stage with Megaran and a group of Megaman cosplayers.

Got a new Gambeson, Pauldrons, and battle skirt for this event. So far the pauldrons are way less painful and bulky, but the skirt is a touch too big. Either way, it was a blast and thankfully the weather mostly held out for us!

Start of LARP season for me and already showing rain. Some things never change. Either way, I'm sure it'll still be a blast and can't wait to get to camp to get in character!

I have three types of TTRPG characters: 1. Tank with a solemn oath to defend the meek and help people. 2. Golden Retriever with gremlin energy. 3. Keeps people a bit at arms reach even if she cares for them.

Just want to find some cool larp stuff here, but over half the feed is just people using it as a political insult. Quickly becoming a peeve to see. Like just say "pretend"; It's a perfectly serviceable word.

Some people are struggling now that Pathfinder has removed alignment; We have provided a solution. Subscribe to Pathfinder: buff.ly/2kVyf0e

An alignment chart with three columns, Business, Chaos, and Disaster, left to right, and three rows, Straight, Bi, and Gay, top to bottom. In the squares from left to right, top to bottom, are Pathfinder and Starfinder iconics in the following order: Ezren, Amiri, and Valeros, in the top row. Navasi, Merisiel, and Dae in the middle row. Kyra, Mios, and Quinn in the bottom row.

happy presidents day

Screenshots from the Game Changer episode "Second Place" where Brennan Lee Mulligan is saying "we're here celebrating what I can only describe as the sickness at the core of America".

If I wasn't throwing myself into too many TTRPG campaigns before, the next 4 years are going to put that to shame. That said: My goal after any of my current ones finish is to start diving into a wider base of games beyond the big names.

I honestly didn't believe I'd ever get to see Macross streaming in the US. I've just been waiting for Harmony Gold to ruin it again as they always do. SO happy to see I was wrong!

So close to Magfest and still need to go through and see which bands to add to schedule. Bit Brigade will always go on first when performing!

Man, sad that Epic the Musical is finally over, but it was a hell of a ride! Strong finish to the story and can't wait to see what Jorge does next!

Nothing like being the DM and watching two people go into an area you planned a boss fight and thinking, "Surely they wouldn't trigger the..." As they do the thing. Upside, I get to write lore for a fledgling god now since they failed!

So far my one-shot Kids on Bikes horror game from Halloween is now going into its fourth (and likely final) week next Wednesday. Not a complaint since everyone is having fun, but man it's gonna be a long week until I can hit them with the finale!

Nothing like being invited to a larp, getting ready for it, and then realizing you have to wait until the next August. At least I have existential dread of the election to make some of it pass quickly? Don't even get one of the cool Michigan stickers for it.

Time to play: Burn Out or LARP Drop! Leaning toward it being the latter, but can never discount the former.
