Beat the Elite Four in LeafGreen with a team of pokemon I never used before (cept Venusaur and Sandslash) and the Elite Four lowkey kicked mg ass, I had NOTHING vs Lorelei. But it made it so much fun, would recommend anyone experiment in a replay with team, not just stick to your fav mons!

I think FRLG could DEFINITELY have been handled better in some respects as far as standalone retro releases go. But I think it’s an overall net positive of a rerelease. I mean my dude, 20$??? There is 100% a timeline where these games were 30$, this is unprecedented for Nintendo.
