I originally wrote this song 20 years ago in 2004. I didn't know much about writing #music then, and the melody was extremely simple, but the song itself has always had a soft spot in my heart. Now in 2024, I'm pleased to be able to produce it as it should have been. www.youtube.com/watch?v=5A_x...

Mum came into my craft room on yesterday and asked if it would possible to make "some of those really cute felted animals I've seen for the Christmas tree". Never having needlefelted anything as complex as that, and with no tutorial or reference, I have to say I'm proud of these #needlefelting 🧶

Needlefelted trio of animals carol singing

Little needlefelted mouse holding a Christmas wreath

Needles felted bunny that looks more like a koala (I'm learning!!) holding a song book

Needle felted snowy owl holding a lantern

Finished crafting this little beauty last night on stream (even if the pattern was wrong and the instructions unclear) also, I have rainbow scissors now! 🧶 #twitch #patchwork

I can't believe how much progress I'm making on the #Northumbriansmallpipes after having started them only two months ago. I can now play a few songs reasonably smoothly and few more haltingly. Amazing Grace is my smoothest, with Chevy Chase, and Somewhere over the Rainbow.

I keep meaning to go out on a proper photography walk. Think I might do that tomorrow, actually, autumn is always a nice time to get some shots. In the meantime, sharing a fairly recent shot from my local stretch of Hadrian's Wall (Roman wall in Northeast England) #photography #nature #history

My middle earth mat is getting covered in glue and has been cut when my craft knife slipped etc, so I wanted something to cover my desk which I can easily put a craft mat over.... Plus I wanted an excuse to get my sewing machine out...🧶🪡🧵

www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kM0... This music video was SUPPOSED to have been released for Halloween....might be a month or so late....oops. The last minute or so was giving me real trouble, which delayed it. Finally figured it out, though, and hope you enjoy the spoops even if it is a bit late!! 🎵 🎃

Currently rendering the video for the song I was SUPPOSED to release for Halloween....oops. The last minute or so was giving me real trouble, I couldn't figure out how to end it. I'll release it on YouTube today (I'll drop a link on here when it's done). Hope you like spooky folk songs!

Yes, I'm flooding in with posts, but trying to train the algorithm to show it what I like.... this was my first piece of threadpainting embroidery - I swear, I did cross stitch for years and years before I discovered this, and I prefer it SO MUCH. I've been hooked! 🧶

Moving over here from the other places (let's face it, Meta is as bad as the former blue bird....) - let's see if I prefer this, then! I'll be sharing my crafting, photos, pets and weird sense of humour!
