To date, #TeamElfreth has closed over 3,000 constituent cases and returned over $4 million directly to our neighbors! One of those neighbors, Paul from Pasadena, had an issue with his annuity payments from OPM, and after seven months of no answers, our team was able to resolve his issue in weeks!

Casework stories: Paul from Pasadena “Upon my retirement, the Office of Personnel Management erroneously overpaid me. I returned the overpayment, but OPM began deducting from my monthly annuity to cover the money that I had already returned. After more than 7 months of OPM not correcting this error, my only recourse was to contact my member of Congress. Within days, Congresswoman Elfreth’s office contacted me for additional information and quickly submitted an inquiry on my behalf to the OPM. Several weeks later, OPM contacted me, refunded the erroneous deductions, and stopped collection on the debt that I had repaid many months earlier.”
