[Mexico City, Mexico] Following the attempted murder of a trans woman. Cops just let the alleged perp go. So actionists from the Mexican sex workers union stormed the judicial building. Via Ghost of Durruti

First time posting in a while so I'm doing it in the way I know best. A silly meme.

The world has moved beyond the need for firecrackers. Between being terrible for our pets, unnecessarily dangerous for ourselves, and generally annoying; the sooner they're phased out of use the better, ong.

Help me, I'm getting mixed signals.

Having doubts about the kind of d&d character I wanna make for later use. One part of me wants the old dwarven druid, but the other desires a strong woman in armour. Oh the dilemmas of life...

What's a girl gotta do to get ahold of a nice suit of armour?

Some great works of literature entering the public domain soon, All Quiet On The Western Front particularly piqued my interest.

I love having this place to just post my silly stuff and thoughts on said stuff, it feels surprisingly chill after the twitter cesspool. I'd leave it behind entirely if it weren't for the people I would miss who haven't moved over. Not yet at least.

Netflix' "Alexander" docuseries is going to be so fucking bad I'm not sure if I should dread it or be excited for the shitshow.

This talk is long overdue but I wanted to write for a while something about November 11th 1918-Armistice Day (or Remembrance Day, but for the rest of this thread I'll only use the term Armistice Day); its consequences; and its observations up to the modern day which aren't without controversy. (1/?)

At risk of becoming someone known for only posting wikipedia stuff... this is an amazing read and a bit of a rabbit hole. From bizzarre music genres to interesting linguistic phenomena and sex in space (yes that's a real article) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikiped...

If I ever decide to get married something like this is bound to happen. Absolutely not reading Gibbon, though.
