What can demography teach us about the "gay cousin at Thanksgiving" meme? A lot! If you were born in the 80s, 90s, or 00s, you could have one queer cousin, on average*. Younger cohorts have fewer cousins overall, but still have a strong share who are queer. * for an American woman in 2023.
