I think age is a factor here as well. More people coming out and finding people they vibe with because they have similar cultural backgrounds. Being older, I still feel more isolated, I don't have a lot of "peers". I can't imagine that level of comfort but I see it in others I know.

Same. It was 5 years before I met another trans person, but I came out 3 months before covid lockdowns started. Just this year I started going to a trans support group at the local LGBT center, and new people are always like "I've never seen this many trans people (30+) in one place before!"

Without that distinction, non-transsexuals stating they have no need of that healthcare is used as a rebuttal to transsexuals saying it is needed. They are, unwittingly or not, helping deny our needs that do not match theirs. That is the logical breakdown.
