One thing to note is that we only see Ven's Face in Final Mix. Not Base KH2. Which was also where we got more cutscenes expanding on that cutscene. Which could mean Roxas' appearance being based on Ven's was an idea late in KH2's Development youtu.be/Jx8iOfMK6EU?... youtu.be/r8RCNgZWAeQ?...

Final Mix came out like, a Yeaar and a half after base two, which is not a small amount of time.

made even more clear in DDD/3 where the ones who were Younger in BBS look exactly how they do in KH2/CoM Xemnas is kind of inbetween, but he does look different from the character he's a counterpart of, Ansem. And KH2 Xehanort has a mix of both of their features, still making him distinct.

Anyone ever think about how the design philosophy behind Nobodies and their others changed between CoM and BBS? Namine, Roxas, and to an extent Xemnas are designed super differently from their original counterpart. Where the Others in BBS are very much designed with their nobodies in mind

Even in Roxas' Concept Art, it's still very different from Sora's design, funny enough in a similar way to Namine's design in comparison to Kairi.

And we know Roxas' design was finalized during CoM

Overall it's kinda my thoughts on the Stark Suit from Home Coming, would less detailing make it look better, of definitely. But I think the fundamentals are so strong that it doesn't really take away for me. Even if there's an alternative I overall prefer

I overall am not too bothered by it compared to an MCU design. Fantasy overall has a habit of Greebling design elements for details. I think as a whole Adult Link looks good here But I think Twilight Princess overall hits the balance between detail without going overboard.

I think this reveal was gonna be divisive no matter what it showed, and honestly I have no real reason to be mad at how it looks. I have both SoH/OoT64 and 3D which I was always gonna prefer art design wise, so I guess that's allowed me to look at it with more grace than most.

Honestly, the Trailer did a lot more for me in warming me up to the visual style of Ocarina of Time Remake than the presentation Adult Link looks pretty good, the other environments look stunning, and it overall looks fun. Don't know if I'll pick it up at launch tho.

I think Persona 4 Revival's portraits have really warmed up on me. I never really hated them, but the lack of highlights did initially throw me off, but having time to get adjusted to them and know what they're going for, I really like them.

My biggest issue is the clashing art direction. We have human sprites in Battle with a lineless style, clashing with Gen 5 Pokemon sprites both of whose rigging and pixel distortion look especially off in HD. The overworld has assets with differing pixel line weight. All of which bloomed to hell.

Look, as a fan project I have a lot of respect for Gamma Emerald from a creation standpoint. It's genuinely impressive from a technical fan game standpoint. There are even things like the battle environments and UI I think are clean. That said, holy shit, I am so happy Pokémon never went HD-2D.

I really like the way she's drawn for the 30th Anniversary, but in terms of outright designs, I adore her casual outfits. The fashion for both summer and winter look so cute and the colors are super pleasing and distinct.

That's a really tough one. Casual outfits, S2 training outfit by far. First outfit I think of when she comes to mind. As for idol outfits, that's definitely much harder, but I am a fan of these three. Also shout outs to her Granblue design

Tyson Hesse CANNOT miss with Sonic Origins Classic is my favorite design for classic, his art and refs for Uekawa Sonic is practically perfect, and Movie Sonic does such a good job in rounding out his proportions for 3D, I think the games should use them if they ain't gonna cellshade shit.

I think Hasbro shot themselves in the foot making them TotK, because you BotW/TotK have figures on both ends that do it's niches better. Want a Cheap but articulated figure? Jakks got you there. Want to pay a bit more for the movement in these AND tons of Accessories? All three of them have Figmas
