they do! But apparently they're harmless and just come out to mate. But we also have stink bugs omg. Those are not just hideous, they're also said to smell terrible. Fortunately, I have not met any yet

do you get lots of bugs too? I thought that was a FL thing, because we didn't have it in VA. But yes, that would work for the top but then the creepy-crawlies would congregate at the bottom. Imagine a swarm of these guys all over your front door

RobRob, do you have bee watering stations in your yard? I may get some also for my parents, they help the bees esp during extreme heat, and the ceramic ones are pretty and colorful. Also quite inexpensive

It's the Summer of Nonsense Expenses. My dad flew his drone over my house to check on the state of my roof, found a screen panel was loose so he had his screen guy come over. This after the pool co emptied, retiled, & refilled the pool. Crazy how they can balance on those beams

I do not think I want to walk around looking like the Hunchback of the White House 😂. I have cooling gadgets bc FL though. Have never used the wearable, but the portable AC is indispensable during a power failure, stays on for >6 hrs and blows actual cool air

our clubhouse has a pool but I wouldn't want to get in it bc eeew it would be like getting in a big bath with starngers. But yes, pool guy has to come once a week to keep it clear

always a physical book when they're illustrated, but most pure text books are from eBooks just because it's more convenient, esp when traveling. I do love the heft of a hardcover though. This one I have a physical copy of just because it's so pretty and transportive
