These two digital paintings have been finished in the last days. A lovely Weimaraner and Rhodesian Ridgeback, both paintings already started a couple years ago. Both ref pics were taken at local dog shows ❤️ So happy to see them finally finished!! More to come in the (hopefully near) future 😁

unlike glaze, though, you should run EVERY image you post through nightshade: memes, screenshots, food photos, literally everything you can, because they WILL be scraped and every time they are, it fucks the dataset up a bit more

If all else fails, you can always try something like GoFundMe if you're in a dire situation. I've found that sometimes people more easily donate rather than buy something. I can't wrap my head around why that is and I find it hard to accept, but it happened to me very recently :/

That's so harsh, I feel for you 💔 Similar situation here. My posts don't get a lot of attention in general, but every time I try to advertise stuff I have for sale it's just crickets. It's hard not to get into mental downwards spirals when it happens over and over again 😓

Thank you so much! ❤️ For me it got easier to paint black fur once I realized it rarely is actually black. A lot of times it's more a dark brown or grey and the parts that are real black are mostly just shadows between fur clumps. And then of course reflected light brings a lot of color into it too.

"Maui" A sculpted memorial pet piece i did several years ago for a cliënt. He measures about 4 inch from chest to bum. I used acrylic inks,pastel powder and mica powder to paint this fellow, he was sculpted from a mix of super sculpey and sculpey firm.

Doodle of my OC Inra so I won't forget that weird dream where his eyes were glowing in an intense mid blue instead of the usual almost black blue, and later the glow kind of spread out more, reaching out of his head, but also being visible through him as if he was somewhat transparent. 1/2

Working on secret stuff rn (also health stuff) which is why nothing is happening here, but sometimes (too rarely) I also do little sculptures 😃 This is a ffxiv fanart wip of the Lunar Kamuy mount that I started in 2020, it's a mix of air-drying and polymer clay. Hopefully I can continue it soon!

Sometimes social media can make artists feel pressured to make nonstop content. So this is to any other artist who feels stressed by this: you’re doing enough. It’s okay if you haven’t been up to making work and it’s okay if life has gotten in the way. You’re still an artist and you are enough💙

That's true! Sometimes that can be a real hassle for sure haha. I usually create hard edges vs soft transitions by wetting the desired areas with clear water first and then painting just within those. And for these realistic paintings I use many layers of that to create the lighting effects 😃

That definitely would be right up my alley :) I'll make sure to make an announcement on my account here once the time has come!
