Purple sprouting broccoli is quite possibly my favourite flower of spring. Dandelions are a close second because the rabbits love them. #purplesproutingbroccoli #ediblegarden #kitchengarden

Over winter, we mulch our veg beds with manure straight from our rabbitry. It suppresses weeds and is pretty much all turned into compost by spring. It feels like cheating!

I've been doing a little too much doom scrolling recently. It's quite possible you have, too (it's hard not to). So here's a little mental palate cleanser. Enjoy. #mentalhealth #cuteandfluffy #doomscrolling

Absolutely loving the eggs laid by our Blue Araucana, Violet. Biology is amazing - did you know a picture of whatever Araucanas eat becomes imprinted on their eggs like a photograph? As you can see, she's been having lots of fresh leafy forage from the garden. #blueeggs #gardenhens #aprilfools

Do you think honesty stalls are on the increase? I love it when I pass one; it always makes me smile. I gave ours a spruce up for spring. What do you think? If you have an honesty stall, tag/link/whatever it is we do on Bluesky me - I love seeing them! #honestystall #chickens #gardeneggs

Aww! Thank you for the welcome! I've felt so disconnected of late. Looking forward to getting the mojo back in time for the sowing season.

Hi! 👋 First post! Hoping to find community here. We are a family of for with a little veg garden, greenhouse, chickens for eggs and angora rabbits for fibre crafts. We forage, we dog walk, we get out into nature and have adventures. #chickens #rainboweggs #gardening #bordercollie #nature #angora
