Air springs on the Conti swapped with used parts. What came off are very shot, but what I put on may not be much better. We'll see. I didn't change the O rings either, which was probably a mistake. Will see about that too.

Today's example of how being poor is expensive: non profit I'm a member of got notice that we need to come up with about 3 months deposit on the electric bill because of past late payments. Late because there was no money, but sure we can pre pay 3 months now.

This stupid amp Ive been fighting with finally revealed why it was being shitty. An open grid resistor on the screen regulator tube. Finally got it to be stupid long enough to chase it down. New resistor, everything is right on. Swap the inverter tube and the noise is gone. Finally.

well I can still hear to 5khz at least. Hooked up an amp and noticed a faint high pitch noise. Scope wound all the way down found it, about 4mV peak to peak. Finally let me chase down the weirdness in that amp, either a bad regulator or bad bypass caps. Not sure, I changed both and it stopped.
