Both Orv and Wilbur are both genetically engineered bioweapons designed to destroy surface dwellers for a more suitable dominant species according to Commander Tartar. Orv was taken before the initial destruction was implemented, but recaptured and sanitized to fulfill his role as ‘Project Wright’.

The flyboys are both silently staring at each other. Each one cannot believe the words of the other.
Lind’s words of wisdom echo through their heads.

“Like an oyster transforming an irritating grain of sand into a lustrous pearl.”
——
Orv finally breaks the silence and leaps eagerly into Boomer’s arms. Boomer is still speechless, and just laughs, catching his new fiancé in his arms.

Boomer: H-h-ha-hahahahaha!

Orv:OH BOOMI! YES YES YES! A million times!

The rest of the squad cheer and celebrate, except for Ami, who is dumbfounded by this revelation.

I love you so much!
——
Boomer backs up quickly whilst blushing.

Boomer: WAIT! Before you say anything else!

Orv is frantic trying to get his word in too.

Orv: Boomi! I'm not finished!

Boomer reaches back into the bag he flew in with while Orv pulls out a Capsule he brought from the Memverse.

Orv shouts out finally interrupting Boomer’s heartfelt admission.

Orv: YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!
——
The rest of the squad watches in silence as the flyboys communicate in ways they’ve never seen before.

The Squad: Are these two the same cephalopods as before?

Boomer’s normally tough demeanor is soft and gentle as he continues speaking to Orv.

Boomer: In fact... I think it's YOU who needs protecting from me. Because the truth is, I'm manic. I have anger issues. I go berserk when you're not near. I'm explosive, and yet...
——
Orv furrows his brow, trying to protest

Orv: Boomi please! Don't say that!
——

Boomer continues admitting his feelings.

Boomer: All this to say, I'm...crazy.
——
Ami takes the chance to mutter a jab at her brother.

Ami: tell us something we DON'T know.

Lind tries to keep the moment heartfelt.
Lind: Captain, please...

Boomer ignores the whispers and continues his speech.

I feel like such a fool for missing your pain.
For not being there when you needed someone strong to be by your side.

Orv is touched that Boomer is just now realizing why he was distant.

Orv is confused at Wilbur’s situation despite their efforts in the Memverse.

Orv: I- I don't understand. You're still green?
——
Marina fills them in on why Wilbur hasn’t changed color despite having his memories returned.

Marina: That's an unfortunate side effect of sanitation. But you did indeed restore his memories

Pearl: AYO! WAY TO GO!

——
Wilbur is resolved in that matter, but grateful to have his memories restored.

Wilbur: It's true, Orville...I remember everything. But I will never fully be unsanitized. I have to face the facts... I'm a monst-

——
Orv smacks his brother on the cheek before he can finish the word. Ami leaps in alarm.

Ami: ORV!
——
Orv now takes Wilbur’s hand and rests the other on his heart.

Orv:Please don't think that, Wil. You're not a monster and neither am I! Yes. We're different, but as a good friend once told me...
