AI has not made us better, more productive, more successful or grown the economy outside of GPU sales and data center construction. It has also made the price of every single device of every kind more expensive, depressed the housing market, and increased literally everybody’s cost of debt.

Spent my morning supporting the members of the @idwanewsguilds.bsky.social in their fight against McClatchy. Local news matters, and we have to protect the journalists who report it. That means fair wages and real community stories, not AI generated clickbait.

This morning I attended a legislative town hall hosted by the 25th District legislative delegation. When asked about persistent state underfunding of public education, my opponent's answer was the federal tax credits promised by HR1. HR1 hurts public education in 2 ways.
