My new album, Spurious Transmutations is here! It’s visceral & haunting, intimate & grandiose, twisted & cutting. A great whirl of contrats of blinding light & darkness, reaching into the depths what it is to be, soaring an instant, plunging the next, & all of its grey in-betweens 🥀🕊️ #newmusic

Hi there! I’m Elea Calvet & this is my song Memento mori, about what it is to be alive & find meaning. I performed & produced it entirely & got it featured in Rolling Stone! I hope it sends shards of light through the mangled little hearts who need them, we’re all in this together 🥀🕊️

The first physical manifestation of my debut album SPURIOUS FORMS has emerged in the shape of its test pressings, that sound beautiful. Another song from it, ‘If you ever wonder’ comes out this Friday! *This is not what the final vinyls look like #newmusic #indie #sadsongs #chamberpop #folknoir

In a few days, another song from my debut album comes out. I found it fitting for it to come out on Valentine’s Day as it gives voice to the often haphazard nature of love, an inherently tragic and beautiful predicament we all find ourselves in in some manner or other. #newmusic #indiemusic #sad 🥀🕊️

Something blue is out! You can stream it everywhere & preorder the record on vinyl via my website or Bandcamp 🎼 it’s a monolithic body of work that I created almost entirely alone. I hope it breaks your heart & expands it a little as it does mine x #folknoir #anachronistic #existentialm #poetry

Your mercy came to me today, like many time before. With a smile upon its face & a letter from the abattoir 🥀 I wrote this song when I was 19 in the midst of my greatest heartbreak, years on & many perhaps better songs onwards, it’s still my favourite line I’ve ever written. #newmusic #poetry #sad

A late night rendition of my existential siren song, Sinuous ways. The 1st song released upon my return to music, it’s the one that encapsulates what I hope to capture best. Idiosyncratic & abstract but always reliant on what gnaws at the heart in its often fatalistic earnestness. #newmusic
