EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Fair dos. There’s only so many times you can play Batman on the Amiga in a crowded hall. 010
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Bless them, I don’t think they’re remotely aware of how it’s cringey “5 minutes making an image with ChatGPT on the toilet” level art. They refer to it as “beautiful”. 030

EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 05/08/2026I like to think that some people have just had the worst day of their lives, and that’s what’s driven them to say such things. 010
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 03/08/2026Good video mate, lookin' hench! Empanadas very similar to pasties in the UK... very different fillings though mind. 110
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 22/06/2026I hate running in the heat. I’ve got a single run of c25k to do and I’ve completed it. Bit been really struggling to get a run done when it’s not boiling. 010
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 20/06/2026You deserve the engagement. It’s worthy of being on the actual telly (channels). 010
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 14/06/2026I was about 11 or so. I remember it wasn’t a tv series you’d admit watching to your friends at school. If felt like being a witness to a murder and you couldn’t talk about. Good healthy scarring times 😅 010
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 14/06/2026You didn’t watch this at the time? Absolutely life scarring shit that I saw after school one random day. 210
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 08/06/2026Dingbot! I had Chatbot as a 10year old. Loved it so very much. I used to look at the back of the box with all the various models and I wanted them all. Especially Verbot 010
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 30/05/2026Bought the Lego Batman game on steam. Most fun any Lego game has been in ages. Them robbing the Arkham fighting engine works really well. 010
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 27/05/2026This Your Sinclair smash tape from 1990. I wasn’t that fussed about the game at the time. Being 13 and not worldly wise. But a friend at the time Andrew ..from my school kept insisting on playing it. After a while I learned to love it. Still only once have I ever seen Gooey Blob successfully cast. 000
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 13/02/2026That purple family member dice changes the game for the better!! Some decent modules in there too. 110
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 06/02/2026Sold a ps4 once to some snotty kid on eBay who wanted to return it saying he didn’t want because the drive had been upgraded. I told him I’d taken a picture of the serial number and would be checking what he returned and he freaked out and then didn’t send it. EBay sided with me and offered him nowt 020
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 05/02/2026Mate I love Absolum that you recommended in your best of 2025 list, and that’s flown under so many radars too. Like personally I really don’t care for souls games, and folk love those. I’m as quirky and fickle with my likes as the next person, and people rarely like what I like! 050
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 05/02/2026I enjoyed it incredibly with my husband. Some of my best 2024 gaming memories. You don’t have to like what each and every other person likes. World would be so boring if we all liked the same thing. 1140
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 14/01/2026It’s a bizarre sticking point that spoils things. I know there’s this big concept of training etc but it just seemed like a huge spike. 110
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 14/01/2026I had to cheese that sequence. I’m guessing it was the attack at the windmill. It’s a known sticking point. 110
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 24/12/2025This is awesome, but has been a little bad for my wallet 050
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 20/11/2025The idea behind BBC news live reporting, breaking news, even if you don’t directly consume it, reading people’s despair about news on Bluesky for example triggered me. A lot of it for me has been just putting the phone in another room all evening. “The news you need will find you” 010
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 20/11/2025There’s a lot of nuance, for me it’s not about completely avoiding news but once a day, on a computer browser is enough. Developing a healthier relationship with it. It’s that habitual picking up of the phone and infinite scrolling and being “connected” all the time thats the issue. 010
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 20/11/2025… all the time you’re looking at your phone 50 times per hour, doomscrolling, reading news, putting yourself in an anxious state…. have you ever thought that the innocuous device in your hand might be part of the problem? We aren’t conditioned to be so hyper connected, it’s an abnormal state (2/2) 110
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 20/11/2025Nov 2024-Nov 2025 has been a fascinating life journey that hasn’t been all too easy, but man have I learned things. If you’re the sort of person (like I was) who despairs and says “the world is so tense right now, why can’t it be like it was in the 90s?”…. (1/2) 010
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 12/11/2025It’s great. I’ve not read past Children of Dune, mind. I’m on Assassin’s Apprentice at the moment and loving it. Ended it taking my kindle to a quiet pub and having a read tonight. 010
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 12/11/2025It spends a lot of time setting the scene and the history of its universe. It can sometimes get a little bonkers with the prescience later but I love it. Just pure escapism for me. 210
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 12/11/2025It’s my favourite. Book. So much intrigue. The audiobooks with a cast are superb. 110

EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 26/09/2025They’re a little high, but if you run and are relatively fit is it more likely to be stress related at all? Or salt intake? Hope you get it sorted man. 110
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 24/09/2025Returnal was a hard slog but fought hard to complete it. Also that boss music!!! Can’t wait for this. Although they’ve done the standard thing with male characters and used a butt cape…. boo to this! 😓 000
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 07/09/2025Went for some blood tests this week. Thankfully all clear but my LinkedIn is now filled with searches from various NHS testing centres. Did they want to see if I was hot or something? 🤷🏻♂️🤔 010
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 03/09/2025Clone Wars can be a bit sleepy-time in the first season (and movie). There’s a Jar Jar episode in s1 where I was put like a light. It gets way better. 010
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 01/09/2025How about being in a queue at a cash machine where each and everyone in front of you reinserts the card and sighs at least once. 100
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 29/08/2025Those things can be done in 5 seconds flat. “Jane sees Bob sharing company memos on instagram should she: A) Join in and laugh B) Report Bob to a manager C) Make a pass at Bob D) Hit him with a cricket bat” 110
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 28/08/2025Just had a “people who you may know” on Facebook… an ex from way back in 1999 (I’m shockingly old). And now he’s married to a woman with kids. Wonder he’s as selfish in the sheets with his Mrs now as he was then 👀 010

EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 23/08/2025I’ve only seen the original run up until it was first cancelled. It does hit a stride somewhere around s2 or so. I enjoyed it, some of it is bonkers but there’s some really touching stuff too. 010
EldritchBolt @eldritchbolt.bsky.social · 21/08/2025It’s a great documentary. Took a long time to make I think? 010
