I get request to organize specific events for my run club from members. Stuff like a picnic after our run, themed run, running some where else, etc. 99% of theses people never offer to help in any manner. It's basically just benefiting from the community but not contributing to it.

For those curious what the breaking point was, I responded to someone who was celebrating Trump move to cut loans for certain degrees and suddenly my feed was filled with "college is worthless/ liberal art degrees are a waste of money" The absolute dumbest people.

As my friend was literally swinging right above them. Guy said he would be fine. My friend ended up having to move off to the side and wait for him to move through his route, breaking her concentration. Really annoying. #rockclimbing #indoorrockclimbing

Last night I was belaying a friend in her project at the indoor gym. Two guys started to get ready to climb a route that crossed into it. Politely asked them if they could wait cause she was right at her crux. They heard me, looked up and proceeded to climb. Again asked them to wait....

It's a Movement gym, so def not an old local gym. I think they just don't hire enough setters (and the walls are 40+ feet high with no way to bring in a lift). They wrote this on their community board

X Rays came back fine, no bone damage (laaaaaaaaaaadies). Good on one hand but back to square one. Guessing blood tests and a rheumatologist visit will be the next step.

Haha. My friend is recently single and told me how overwhelming the apps are. He is a guy, and this is his first day on it. I'm absolutely not surprised, he's a good dude and very attractive but man, those are probably more likes than I get i ever gotten in my time using it.

Had to drop 800 dollars getting my car electrical system reset and a new key yesterday (it's a whole story). Last week I paid 400 bc it got towed. I try to stay grateful that these expenses don't keep me from paying rent or anything like that but this is how I feel this morning.

Got my Shockz stolen at yoga this morning. It was at a brewery, I had finished my run earlier so I still had them with me. Set them down when we finished with some of my other stuff and was helping move tables back into the space. Realized they were gone later. So fucking pissed at myself

One of the best feeling in a race is passing people in the back half of it. Not because I was glad that they are struggling, but because it meant that my training strategy had paid off. Really proud of my consistency At least until mile 27. Still gotta work on those last 5 miles. #running

#cowtownmarathon ultra done! Big PR, almost 30 min from my first one. Those last 5 miles absolutely destroyed me though. Gotta work on better pacing the 50k. Still got enough to take 3rd in AG! Plus side, I'll take a 3:36 marathon time on a tough course with tough weather anytime. #running

Medals aren't that important to me, unless I'm doing a race specifically for a cool medal, but even with that is hard not to be disappointed with these medals. Such dinky medals for what is a pretty big ( and expensive)race. Don't get me started on the shirts.... #running

Forecast for weekends 50k looking rough. Normally I doing carry hydration, just rely on the aid stations, but I'm planning on carrying a water bottle and electrolyte tablets to be safe. Original goal was 4:15ish but I go for 4:30 to be safe #running #cowtownmarathon

Haha, to be fair I was running pretty much in zone 4 during that marathon. My heart rate always been low, even when I wasn't running. Running did make it go down though. Resting HR often gets to 36. My Garmin sometimes thinks I took a nap if I'm just watching TV lol

I'm not upset by people having preferences in dating as we all do, and you're attracted to what you're atracted to, but it's a bummer to often be reminded how important having hair is to a lot of people. I done a lot of work on myself but I can't replace the hair. Always feels it holds me back.
