I think overall I would have preferred the v6 (better transmission, no turbo lag), but I've been quite happy with what I have. Point is, sure it needs premium, but it goes farther on it so it overall costs about the same.

When I got my car, I ran the numbers for fuel economy vs gas price for the engine options. It worked out to be close to the crossover point with gas prices at the time, and considering that the v6 (which used regular) was like $1800 more than the turbo 4 (premium), the t4 was much better overall.
