The pavement parking ban in Edinburgh has been great, but it doesn't fix everything…

A large white van is parked with its back wheels against the pavement in such a way that the rear section of the vehicle overhangs the pavement. More than 75% of the pavement is blocked. The space that remains between the van and the fence is too narrow for an adult to walk through.

A yellow sign with red text in all caps says "Asbestos based materials. Report any damage." It is screwed onto the corrugated wall of the ramp between platforms at Peterborough railway station.

I agree completely! The Brother laser printer I bought for £154 in 2014 is still going strong. It can print double-sided but not colour. I think we might have replaced the drum? I regularly use the document feeder for the scanner. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was great to be at Pride in Glasgow today! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

A few of my favourite signs from today's protest.

The person carrying the sign explained that it means that gender is not limited to two options, visible to everyone, and unchanging; but instead is private to the individual, is not limited to only two possibilities, and can change over time.

This afternoon I went to the Edinburgh demonstration in support of transgender rights at the foot of the Mound and then to the Easter Play in Princes Street Gardens. I think my badge was appropriate for both events 😄

Here are some more details. Meadowbank Church is correctly labelled in Google Maps, but it doesn't show up as an option in the journey planner search results. The building *is* listed under the old name of "Holyrood Abbey", with the right address. So the journey planner is not using Google Maps.
