Welcome. I'd spend a few days reading posts, and you'll see what format people usually follow. It'll feel natural in no time.

No joke, she just came back with an antler and I have no idea where she got it.

I am having a hard time deciding between the warm fire and my dog trying to come back home from the outside with a stick she wants to chew to pieces on the living room rug.

This story needs to be in a picture book

It's awesome to have the crescent shaped shadows in the background

It seems after the “show me your hands art” trend, it comes “show me your background art”. Do you know at what stuff the genAIs suck? Please stop training them for free sharing your unprotected and hashtag/alt-text enhanced images in social networks, following ultraspecific trends of obscure origin.

Thank you, I was looking for that exact announcement. I'm not an illustrator, but I might use this to draw with my daughter :)

I've been so busy, where do I find the challenge information?

I wrote a 500-word scary flash fiction story for our library's Writers' Night of Fright. I'll get to read it aloud at the event. I'm excited and nervous. This will be the first time I'll ready story to a live audience, not just the critic in my head.

It's pretty true. Only the farthest corners of the orchards' property had ripe for picking apples on them. There were some they said not to pick, and those were fenced off. I've never seen so many people there, but it was a sunny Saturday, so my mistake :)

I went to the McWane Science Museum with my kids today and found this quote behind the door of one of the exhibits. And it struck me - this is why the narrow-minded are banning the books. They fear that allowing young minds to stretch is going to forever challenge the status quo. Fear fuels hate.

This year, I'd like to do NaNoWriMo, but I'm worried it will be too much pressure and I'll give up. Can anyone share any tips or best practices?

An introverted neighbor of mine wears a mask during the "pollennating" season here in GA to prevent his allergic reactions. He said a great other benefit is that the mask keeps people at a distance.

I love your haiku, but I'm still not a fan of the thieving chipmunks. My sweet little friend's snap pea shoots were decimated by these garden robbers in the spring.

This is my first post in this blank slate space. What better way to start than with a little #HaikuSaturday Leaves fall quietly Crisp air fills my lungs, bursting First run of the fall
