The Voodoo Doughnuts shop in the airport had an alien flashing a peace sign by it. (They have a large number of EXCELLENT vegan donuts! And non-vegan ones too)

We were in Boulder (and Denver) this past weekend visiting a friend. We did the Meow Wolf art exhibit in Denver, which was amazing — I could definitely do it again. Morda and I also did an escape room, and finished with just over a minute to spare!

We sold our piano. It’s going to belong to an 11 year old girl who has been taking lessons for five years, but has been using a digital piano. We haven’t really played it for years so this is a good thing for it. Not sure what we will do with the space where it was but for now it’s my music corner.

They don’t look great but this is my first attempt at soft pretzels. I think the recipe gives way too much time for rising. Maybe some other things too.

At my eye doctor. Hoping we can do something to improve my glasses prescription , it’s really getting bad (since the retinal detachment surgery). I’ve given up hope for fixing the dry eye issue.

It’s mating season. The males’ heads aren’t usually this vivid. Brighter blue and red.
