Early TV ads were a lifeline for Japanese animators. This stuff allowed for amazing creativity, even when other avenues didn't. Japan had world-class animated ads from the '50s onward. We're looking into a few of them today: animationobsessive.substack.com/p/japans-oth...

💝

Hey guys, Kevin, CEO of GLITCH here. Been trying to figure out when and how to express this, but now I think is the right time:

To the fans - Thank you, deeply. You are the reason we got here. I know it can get noisy online sometimes, but the real-world reality is that you are some of the most genuine, kind people we have ever had the privilege of meeting. We saw every cosplay, every discussion circle, every sticker shared outside the theatres. That is what this is all about.

To every person at/with GLITCH - I never doubted you for a single second. You are all so incredibly talented, and I am so proud that the impact of your work is now being felt on a world stage.

To the industry - Animation and cinema is art. Art is human expression. Digital Circus was a deeply personal story created to express complex feelings. Please let that be the signal you take from all of this.

To everyone - Keep making things and keep sharing your work. We found all our creators through the internet.

Now, here’s Pomni with her signature dance move.

I hope Coyote vs ACME is successful at the box office not just because a lot of artists worked hard on it, but also to prove that The Looney Tunes aren't a dead IP and can still be funny even in the modern era.

I can't believe this god damn show is 10 years old. Look what 10 years did to this poor boy. Shame. (Context is in the alt text and replies.) #nickelodeon #theloudhouse #lincolnloud #loudhouse #cartoon #fanart #cringe #deviantart #nicktoons #animation #fandom #cursed #r34 #satire #parody

Lincoln's pose is a reference to Gangle's scene in TADC Episode 8 (the scene where Caine loses his fucking shit and she's surrounded by easels)

Oh this bill sounds amazing. Please spread the word and call your reps to tell them to VOTE YES for HR 4678 💜 this would be a huge anti-censorship win.

We have Sonic, Banjo, Snake, Cloud, Sephiroth, Joker, Kazuya and Sora... It's only fitting that the Banooca boy gets added to join as another PlayStation rep. Plus Banjo and Crash are both owned by Xbox... Hopefully we get a SSBU Switch 2 Edition.
