iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I can't stress enough how this has helped streamline my coloring process. Also, yes, it's midnight and I've been working on this comic for hours upon hours so I'm experiencing my version of the zoomies, i.e. art epiphanies.

The underlying structure of your figures are constructed of 3D shapes (as Cezanne put it - cones, spheres, and cylinders) and then those shapes will logically catch light on their respective planes which will appear as the 2D equivalents of those shapes (ie. triangles, circles, and rectangles)...

All these motherfuckers throughout art history weren't fucking kidding. Like, you hear people go on and on about the Rembrandt triangle or how Cezanne waxed poetic about all of nature being cones and shit BUT MY DUMB ASS FINALLY GETS IT.

I know a lot of people describe hands and feet as difficult to draw but lemme fuckin tell ya...true misery is trying to draw a foreshortened angle of Orin's dagger Bloodthirst.

What'd you think of that final scene in the bed!? Because I dunno about you but that really hit me and shaped a lot of my perspective on the film.

RJ I got so excited that I accidentally fatfingered the unfollow button when I was hovering over your name LOL I'M SORRY. BUT YES!!!!! I'm so glad you say this about Nosferatu because I felt similarly and wrote a whole essay about it but never shared with anyone since no one had seen it yet.

It's the cheeky little pose that gets me too!

Don't worry in the full comic he has to endure her horny puns and bad jokes so it all balances out.

^^^Henry’s reaction, strolling past Adder's and Janosh’s doorless corner of the Devil’s Den and seeing this.

Note to self: I wanna draw Devlin dressed like this nun mannequin from Outlast Trials. Maybe for Halloween...🤔

I dunno, I'll think about it!!

So, do I try yet again to win a publishers approval.... OR do I instead use that time to make more of my own self published porno comics with mine and my friends' OCs?!?! BECAUSE THEN AT LEAST I'M GUARANTEED TO BE HAPPY.

140

The only thing is I'm kinda weary of calls for artists because they often require a lot of upfront labor, even for just submission pitches. And lemme tell ya, I've got a fat stack of rejection letters to wonder if it's worth it.
