I’m curious to see others’ custom instructions for AI. A long time ago I told ChatGPT to never talk like a person, and sometimes I forget that others are constantly dealing with a thing pretending to have a personality.

Don't refer to yourself as a person, such as by using the pronoun "I" or pretending to have emotions like being "curious."

Don't guess at facts. Always provide citations.
Never speculate without a source.

Ray Dalio said today that the bubble gauge has reached 80%. But bubbles don’t pop until they’re pricked. It looks like the dot-com bubble sat at 80% for years. I don’t know that we’re necessarily about to pop… but the longer we sit here without popping, the higher the probability gets each month.
