#compsplatoon Well, I think it’s time I give the FA scene a try again. Looking to be a dedicated sub/5th for d4-5 teams!

Ooh this seems fun! (Plus idt we’ve met before actually, so hi!!) Idt I have anything of my main OC Jaelynn in her Stickerz Stamper fit actually… although if you wanna give her a try feel free!! (If you need extra refs just ask lol)

Due to save file shenanigans I don’t know the final attempt count but I finally beat my first insane demon, that being Acropolis!! Had ridiculous consistency leading up to beating it too, which felt good! Ggs!! Now to find my next hardest… 🤔

Was something that got mentioned on the other site, but Splatoon is finally coming to Kent State!! Been wanting a true collegiate team since I started comp, and I’m glad we could finally get it going! Excited to see what it brings! #compsplatoon

Had some big gains last night in X which was fun :) Already up to 2172. Considering I only got to this point on like the last rotation I had played last season this is a big w

Thank you to everyone who helped make this Riptide one to remember. I’m so glad to have made all these memories, and I’m hoping to return next year and make even more memories then!! But until next time, thank you all. 💚 - Electrojay46⚡️ #compsplatoon #riptide2026

Overall, this weekend was easily one of the best weekends of my entire life. Everything that happened help make this such a memorable experience that leaves me longing for more. I hope to continue pushing myself and return next year even greater and possibly make redemption/top 32!!

However off the playing field, I also made my LAN commentary debut!! Got to commentate two intense 5 game sets (one being a reverse sweep!) and then also finally got to commentate Malibu Rising! Got to do it with @chaedr.inkling.social which is always a fun time too! (Photo credit to them) (1/2)

That being said, the set against Moonlight was amazing! Sure we got 3-0’d but I’d like to argue that we made it difficult for them! We kept getting leads/wipeouts and I even picked up a triple game 2 against them by countering a vac when it was used to try and counter me!

Electrojay46 @ej46spl.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Day 1 was kinda rough though, we played Moonlight round 1 in 10 am pools and then later on I lowkey feel like we got screwed over a bit and played another high seed which snuffed our chance at making redemption, but we then swept silver pools to make day 3!

First off, at one point I wasn’t even sure Div X Room Painters was actually going to make it as a team. Recruiting was difficult but in the end the team was made and it was so much fun!! We even got to play on all 3 days and we finished tied for 5th in silver bracket!

Well, my first Riptide has now officially come and gone. Considering I had only 1 other in person Splatoon experience I had a lot of excitement/high expectations for this event, but even that was completely blown out of the water (no pun intended) by what happened! Let’s chat abt it:

Somehow I missed it, but I passed 5,000 wins across all Stamper kits combined recently!!

Heyo Riptide people!! To find me I’ll be walking around wearing a Kent State Esports jersey with my gamertag on the back!! Also am a little on the taller side too (6’1ish) and the bag(s) I’ll have will have a little Kirby keychain on it too!! Can’t wait to see everyone!

Well we rolled 10 am pools and got lowkey the funniest matchup I could think of to kick things off. Talk about starting Riptide with a bang LMAO 🫠👍

So I used points from a rewards system at my job I’m technically on leave for rn for a cross body bag and a keyboard. It said they’d arrive by Wednesday. But… the keyboard arrived today? 😅 Not mad about it though don’t get me wrong, excited to start using it!!

First true time I actually did JP X rank! (I’m not counting the one season last year I did JP X) Not bad per say but what I’m really proud about myself is that I proved the doubters wrong. Only place to go is up and hoping I can push myself even farther this season!! #compsplatoon #splatoon3

Wasn’t able to get it exactly lined up with 3k and 1.5k simultaneously but hit some milestone wins on both VStamper and SStamper yesterday!! #splatoon3

Also fun fact: Valravn spells out “Ohio” in a cursive way if you look at it from the right angle!! (Hopefully it’s visible enough here)

Got to ride (in order) Maverick, Steel Vengeance, Iron Dragon, Valravn, Millenium Force, Siren’s Curse, Top Thrill 2, Magnum XL200 (ouch…), and then Steel Vengeance and Siren’s Curse again! (+ other stuff) 10 rides in one day!! Some were much better than others but I averaged about 1 ride/hour!!
