Life really said, ‘You’re gonna be ill now until your legs are painfully sore…’ Moved the BF stream; expecting to do the same for FE :(

Today marks a momentous day in my XCOM 2 history: the Subway Sectoid massacre. Many psionics died from brainrot and fire in just two turns.

Eiten Dylus @eitendylus.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

I really do love XCOM. Also my wife looking so stylish. Man...

010

Eiten Dylus @eitendylus.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

Honestly, playing it reminds me of a time when my PC struggled to play the game because of how odd it can be with optimization, but now that my rig can handle it quite well... It's held up!

Eiten Dylus @eitendylus.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

I keep getting hooked on Firaxis games out of the blue First Civilization, now I’m back to XCOM Too bad I busted my save over uninstalling dozens of mods…

A snippet from Antiophobia, one of my short stories. Always a good reminder that sinister corporations still and will always exist, even in an apocalyptic setting.

Eiten Dylus @eitendylus.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

finally taking steps to limit my x usage may consider more socmed, as I don't think they're important to my youtube channel and frankly they tank my mental health because of my existing issues proof below

Well, I stopped posting these a while ago; figure I bring these story snippets back (even if nobody reads them) This is from another of my lore!stories aptly named Antiophobia. My father takes me out on a routine contract... as a teenager. Things definitely go wrong.

Good evening, mercenaries! After two weeks and a blessing from my boss about my workload, I can finally stream! For this intel drop, we'll be looking at two new games I bought from the latest Summer sale, alongside our Fire Emblem stream. See you then!

Enjoying Civilization 6 a lot recently, to the point where I've somewhat got a decent grasp of the game's mechanics. Hoping I could get a multiplayer sessions going sometime soon!

Last night's stream was so chaotic and hectic, to the point we got raided twice and reached 400 followers!! Huge thanks to @eitendylus.bsky.social for inviting me to this fun collab, @zeroaiden.bsky.social and Kuroe for suffering with me, and everyone else for watching the chaos unfolds!

Heyo mercs! Sorry for going dark here, been finding it hard to meaningfully make use of social media recently. Anyway, I've recently finished up a video essay about how my new love, Battlefield 6, gets way too much hate, and how we should love it more. www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sbj...

Stop hating Battlefield 6. Start loving it more.

So a depressive episode kicked in recently, sucked the life out of me, and reminded me of how much I hate it. Did you know that this hate is to the point that I made it a tangible, eldritch antagonist in my story? Now you know. Please welcome the Tempest. #WriteSky #writing

I had to research torture techniques so I could write a device that specifically, PAINFULLY tortures me in a way that is completely justified thanks to an eldritch abomination honestly I don't know whether to be sad or laugh because of how much I inject self-hatred into this #WriteSky #lore #OC

He usually does small deeds such as helping them carry supplies, or fetch different things from outside towns. Sometimes it can be helping them address a group of criminals shaking them down, or just being a guard for a day. If he tries to charm them, it won't work. Doing something beneficial does.

110

Eiten Dylus @eitendylus.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

She is also interested in Dylus! But I am going to make it clear that she’s not a one-note love interest, but in fact has her own story and goals even during the brutal Sunset War. Not only is she a mercenary with his company, but she has a lot to learn about her people.

Another moodboard! This time, it’s Ria Michalis, a pyrokinetic from a place formerly known as Kelantan. A powerful fire witch capable of wielding primordial fire, Ria is also the tribe’s Landswalker, and is responsible for defending her home- and deciding its future. #WriteSky #oc

For the rest of his 'family', his robotic uncle, TARN, relies on a 'talk first, steal if necessary' strategy as material wealth doesn't matter to him. Rakkan, a lizardperson, prefers to barter with valuable, but random, items. Yumiko pays flat rate, but if needed, uses her powers to seal a deal.

120

Eiten Dylus @eitendylus.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

His father is more business-savvy and always tries to cut a deal that benefits his mercenary company more in the long run. Business acumen, unfortunately, is hard to pass down. The old man always is disappointed that his son has yet to leverage his own value to help his own people.

120

Eiten Dylus @eitendylus.bsky.social · 16/02/2026

#WriteSky #AwesomeCharacters Dylus usually pays full price in civilized areas as that's what he lives by, but on fringe territories and places known to be shady, he always attempts to haggles like a champion. Attempts, because the only way he wins is if he helps the seller. His words are horrible.

140

Eiten Dylus @eitendylus.bsky.social · 13/02/2026

In general, Dylus can be downright nasty when it comes to asserting his rights, especially when it has to do with him. Though he got somewhat better, some of the uglier conflicts involve him and his father arguing, especially after the events of a long and brutal war. In short, nobody really wins.

Announcement regarding commission prices It would mean the world to me if you took the time to read through 🙇‍♀️ #commissionupdates #kuroupdates

An illustration of Kuro, my brown and beige lop-eared bunny fursona with white hair highlights holding up a wooden signboard that has a red exclamation mark on it. She looks distraught with her eyes closed as exaggerated sweatdrops are flying off the back of her head

A screenshot with text reading: It's with difficult consideration that I have decided to do this.
From this point on, my commission prices will be listed in Euros instead of USD. The fluctuations of the exchange rate right now are something that I cannot afford to deal with without breaking my body.
If you have already been provided a quote and we’ve talked about our commission plans, then you needn’t worry as this change would only apply to any new commissions coming in.

The base price of our 3d commissions have also been raised as to match the amount of effort we put into our work.

Thank you for the understanding and continued support. We hope to be able to serve you better going forward!

#AwesomeCharacters #WriteSky Dylus fights a lot, but he argues the most with Yumiko, his stepsister, about his condition. Both sides are in conflict with what to do with an eldritch abomination taking up half of his soul. Both sides have points, but the option they took was... extreme.
