For Modern, I played Eldrazi Tron with 4 Chalice main to target Prowess, Boros, Affinity, and Living End. I'm pretty happy with my deck choice and build, though some of my matchup-specific prep was lacking. Thanks to @jkyu06.bsky.social and Mickey Cushing for helping!

I won the MOCS! 3-0 Vintage Cube and 1-2 Modern, then won the finals (also Modern). Dodged limited god Eken in the cube portion, but he showed up regardless in Modern!

Also, Omni is easier to interact with compared to Atraxa because of Disenchant effects and Trinisphere That being said, Omni is the most powerful thing to do when it works, and Emrakul is a good way to beat certain hate pieces like Doorkeeper Thrull, so it's definitely not out of the question

Speaker having to discard a card turns out to be pretty bad a lot of the time, and Emrakul gets a lot worse with less Speaker and less Omni If you're putting in Omni off of Show and Tell you generally need to have more cards so it works well not as often

Some thoughts: - 4 Omni feels way better than 1 or 0 - I boarded out Emrakul a lot but I think it's good to have - Least used cards in the SB were Harbinger and Soul-Guide - Basics should probably be snow because Coatl exists but it really doesn't matter

I clicked through it 4 times I think in this event I was a little concerned that round 1 my opponent would go guide-guide or something and gain a bunch of life if you're comboing with Omni you eventually draw into Aluren which makes it faster
