Moral week at work, and tomorrow is "wear a superhero shirt to work" day. I'm deciding which GaoGaiGar shirt i should wear.

I'm not too worried, just amused. Plus i have that version too.

Started making a deck in the Gundam TCG. I want to know who decided to make the art for Char Aznable/Quattro Bajeena "yes, let us make this as sexy as possible". Lieutenant DtF has made me realize I'm never going to be able to not laugh when i play this.

I have a friend who lives in a time zone 11 hours ahead of me. She said when it happens to call her and tell her vocally, no matter what time it is over there.

Because i am insane and hate myself, i painted these. The pilot Raven is especially silly to do since you won't see it in the cockpit.

I see grummz saying "we gamers won" and i find that funny because he is the biggest grifter larping as a gamer around.

I realized Soma's adventure plate was in need of an update. #FFXIV #AuRa

Saw Transformers 86 last night, and the animated short "Optimus Prime: Awakening" after it.While it was nice getting to hear Peter Cullen as Prime one last time, the way it plays out I fear it was either written by AI or someone who said "it was really cool when John Cena tapped out his last match"

After a delay due to production wait, i replaced a few more of my old Super Nintendo game boxes, and manuals for some others. No idea how or why i have two manuals for Jurassic Park, but hey...

My friend gave me a booster pack of the Gundam TCG today when we met up at the local shop. I opened it and pulled this Miorine. Everyone here started freaking out. I was just happy to pull shiny lesbian.

The current discourse on Optimus Prime and the government made me realize how many people think Paramount owns Transformers because they made the movies. That's up there with people who think Disney owns Transformers because they bought Marvel who made the Transformers comics in the 80s and 90s.

I honestly sat there reading a book during it, looked up for Metroid, then went back to my book. If i didn't have Vinny on i probably would have turned the tv off and gone back to sleep.

I got a preorder im with Amazon, but i trust them as far as i can throw them. So right now that order is a backup plan and I'll look for something more sure.

000

Draco Einhander @einhander02.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Oh boy, i can't wait to fight scalpers and purchase-bots just so i can buy the special edition of Metroid Ravenous. I'd be willing to do the paperwork and proof Nintendo has you do to buy a controller if it means i can buy a special edition directly from them without the fight.

I think a lot of us were hoping for another kaiju, but we know Toho has that love of relying on Ghidorah for everything.

*angry batchall noises* Did a new Battletech mini based on Nicolai Malthus's summoner/thor. I grew up with the Battletech cartoon, and had the toy of his mech, which didn't look like a standard Summoner, so when i saw this variant in the Scouring Sands set i knew what i had to do.

I think it's a shame we haven't gotten a new Dynasty Warriors Gundam game in so long, moreso because the Barbatos would be perfect in it. Like the two were made for each other. Fields of hundreds of enemies and the bonk-bonk gundam.

Technically we had six or seven, just three are getting the most attention.

There's nothing I can say that people who are better with words than I have already said. I'm glad i got to meet him three years ago. Farewell Peter Cullen, you will be missed. Thank you for everything, and for giving me a hero when I was growing up.

Yeeeeeah... Ultros sucks for buying anything off the marketboard.. its why my friend and i world hop to buy stuff, and why my FC has decided to go through the effort of growing our own onions...

Draco Einhander @einhander02.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

Hey, compared to my server those are pretty good onion prices. Ultros they're like a million gil.

He is a really good figure, and a great budget option for those who don't want to spend the money on the Missing Link Optimus (literally the original mold but with modern articulation and no partforming)

I stopped on my lunch break at work Sunday and got Godzilla. Which I guess was lucky because my friends just keep getting mothra.

Got to see my local friends for the first time since the ren faire last October (yey work and life schedules...) and as always they bring me such interesting things. These two now mean i have the main cast of the series Gargoyles, and these being the hardest two to get (because Neca sucks)

030

Draco Einhander @einhander02.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Poor Soma. She tried to have the confidence in herself to wear a swimsuit this Moonfire Faire, but after the less than positive reactions it got, she felt really self conscious again. So she ended up putting on something much more covering, then going off to sit by herself. #FFxiv #gposers #AuRa

Also even if they could bring back all the original performers, it's been 40 years. I guarantee you they'd sound similar to the band who did the reformated album. Heck Stan Bush is on it himself and he sounds different from when he did the original. Stop pretending everything will be the 80s forever

000

Draco Einhander @einhander02.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

I keep seeing all these people saying the Transformers 40th anniversary soundtrack "is garbage", "trash", etc, but no one ever says why. Yes its covers of the originals, but those still exist. I feel the majority don't like it because "it's not the original" like transformers fans often complain.

Draco Einhander @einhander02.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

I first played Metroid in 2nd grade (1990-1991), had no idea Samus was a woman. Made myself a cardboard helmet and tube arm cannon I'd pretend i was Samus with in the park. Beat the game, saw the reveal, liked Samus even more. Continued to run around with my box helmet and wrapping paper arm cannon.

110

Draco Einhander @einhander02.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

To be fair, if i had the time, motivation, and space I'd make myself a cosplay of her power armor. Instead i just walk around the house with my light up atm cannon they made a few years ago

110

Draco Einhander @einhander02.bsky.social · 07/08/2026

Closest i have to a consolidated display is these two amiibos, recent figures, glow in the dark zoomer and ridley from gacha capsules in the 80s, and a Battletech miniature I painted to look like Samus.

Draco Einhander @einhander02.bsky.social · 07/08/2026

I'm just glad I picked up every metroid game (except pinball, fed force, and now prime 4) from Japan before they saw all their prices do massive jumps upward like much of the video game market did.

010

Draco Einhander @einhander02.bsky.social · 07/08/2026

I really thought about putting all my stuff in one shot today, but last time i did that it took a few hours to set up, so i didn't bother. I really just need to do a shelf of just (some of) my Metroid collection.

Draco Einhander @einhander02.bsky.social · 07/08/2026

Its funny how it flipped. Around 2017 a US super was about 20 bucks, but a JP copy was over 100. In 2019 US went up to 55-60, while JP dropped to 75. They have since fully switched places. Also i got my boxed JP copy of Zero Mission for 12 dollars. It's now over 120.

Nine years ago during a visit my friend @ateliermichi.bsky.social took this picture of my cat. I love how casually he was just leaning on top of the Super Famicom's box.

an orange tabby cat, leaning on top of a super famicom box.

I finally finished a Battletech mini I've been painting sporadically due to other projects. I had an extra Zeus, so i painted it to look like the MechWarrior Dark Age mini Viktor Hannan/Zeus. This was the very first unique mini i pulled when i started playing MWDA, and i was so excited to use it.
