And of course this is something we've known about large-scale modern farming for decades now. Chickens selectively bred for large breasts with a fraction of the nutritional content. The low vitamin D and K levels in everything. Lower protein and iron and mineral levels in meat and dairy.

I haven't read the article you posted yet (I will, though), but higher atmospheric CO2 also lowers the mineral and protein content of forage crops, so even grassfeed cattle (if you're lucky enough to live somewhere where the livestock graze and see sunlight) are far less nutritious than they were.

He really has a way of highlighting how unreasonable, evasive, and outright incompetent some other senators are simply by speaking sanely and keeping them on track, like a parent silently carrying their toddler back to bed over and over and over as they tantrum, name call, and try to deflect.

Really such a smart choice. He speaks well (bloody rare these days) and is very good at maintaining his composure in Parliament, keeping his arguments clear without any smugness.

He's also been incredibly vocal and proactive against AUKUS, and of course as a Greens candidate we can trust him to take climate change, housing, welfare, Medicare, aged care, education, and workplace rights seriously. His Bluesky account is nowhere as good as his Instagram account (not his fault)

Shoebridge has been doing really excellent work lately and acts like a leader should. I would have voted Greens regardless, but I'll be very happy to vote for him. NSW has a massive problem with civil rights at the moment and Shoebridge, among others, has really been standing up for us.

They should designate the opening song at concerts for filming and have a phones off policy for the rest of the show. I don't think an outright ban would work (it's too ingrained in culture now), but most people will follow a rule if they think it's fair and reasonable.

But I do support them banning it for the more famous pieces. I wouldn't typically bother with those anyway, because as you say there's better images online (and postcards, magnets, posters etc in the gift shop).

I like taking photos of things (not all the things, but the ones that strike my fancy), and I regularly revisit my photos to reminisce, but I always wait until there's a break in foot traffic so I'm not bothering anyone.

A lot of streaming services are using auto generated AI subtitles and it's obvious no human is checking them because they'll do things like get the main character's name wrong in 5 unique ways in a single film.
