Feeling very proud and privileged to be able to refresh my Advanced Powerboat certificate with some stellar boat crew volunteers at #MayoCivilDefence over the weekend! The course included coastal navigation (day & night) as well as numerous boat handling skills and search pattern techniques. #SAR

There were a number of videos clips created, by the way, which do feature some of our female volunteers! It was just a coincidence that this clip featured men only.

Hi Jenna, I think that is a coincidence! Civil Defence is a fantastic organisation with plenty of female volunteers. Like me, many are multi-disciplined and have volunteered for many, many years. There is a special camaraderie and a massive feel-good factor. I would highly recommend it! 💙🧡

Hi there! The #RNLI has a large range of printed Christmas cards (and other gifts) available both online and in their retail shops, but as of yet, they don't have eCards, that I'm aware of! Physical cards can be ordered at the link below. shop.rnli.org/collections/...

Some very important advice from the #RNLI as people take to the coast during the hot weather spell. Extreme caution should also be exercised in rivers and lakes, which can be very cold and dangerous. Always have a plan, tell someone where you are going and have a means of calling for help.

I have found that interactions/engagements on here have dwindled significantly since I joined. Sports updates are very much lacking and some big commercial names are holding off on making the move while others have reserved their handle, but have done little more than that.
