Guess what I did earlier today…filled up the neighborhood food pantry box. Be the change you want to see in the world amirite

A food pantry box, modestly stocked with cereal, milk, bread, peanut butter, jelly, fruit cups, canned goods (fruit, beans, vegetables, sardines, olives, tuna, chicken, spam, tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste), pasta, crackers, cup noodles, and I think that’s it.

Peaches and Dreams dahlia blooms open first as a yellow flower, and develop more peach and blush tones, and then towards the end of the bloom, they get a yellow center. On a cloudy day, I round the corner of the house, and it's like a hundred suns over there.

I went out back and checked on the bees. They’re all tucked in for the night. The aptly named Bee Happy and Bumble Rumble dahlias provide a place to rest overnight. #FlowerReport #Bloomscrolling 🌱 🐝

A few weeks ago, I had an idea for kind of a good Samaritan movement I've been doing on my own around Norfolk, but I think it could really catch on if someone can get me on the news or something.
I know parking tickets can really ruin somebody's day so whenever I see one on a car, I just slide it off the windshield and tuck it in my pocket and then just throw it away when I get the chance.
That way they never see it and won't have their day ruined.
Between downtown and Ghent where I walk l've probably thrown 10 or 12 away just myself so I'm pretty sure we could really get this going if we had more people involved
Anyone have a connection ?

So much negativity in our area.
I post a couple days ago about a good deed l've been doing and have been met with so much negativity.
This is why we can't get a real sports team here.
We just don't know how to come together.

Welp. I woke up early and I was going to roll up to Yorktown to see the schooner Virginia off on their way to Baltimore, but the Hampton tunnel is closed, so now I’m enjoying the cool breeze on the Chesapeake Bay on the beach at Ocean View.

Some of you have heard me talk about my friend Ruby; she drew her last breath Wednesday, ten days shy of her 94th birthday. Rest in peace to one of the realest of the real ones.
