Basically a route is defined minimally by a path and a handler. That's just data. Declaring a variant type for each route ended up doing nothing for me (well, except create a cyclic dependency). A list of tuples got me where I wanted:

$fn routes() { [ #([], home.view), #(["about"], about.view), #(["cyleen"], cyleen.view), #(["smoosh"], smoosh.view), #([".well-known", "atproto-did"], atproto_did_handler), ] }$

I mean look at this

$A screenshot of some beautiful Gleam: fn handler(req: Request) -> Response { use req <- middleware(req) let ctx = req |> context.from_req case ctx.page { Home -> home.view(ctx) |> to_html About -> about.view(ctx) |> to_html Cyleen -> cyleen.view(ctx) |> to_html Smoosh -> smoosh.view(ctx) |> to_html AtProtoDid -> wisp.ok() |> wisp.set_header("content-type", "text/plain") |> wisp.string_body("did:plc:h2qlyvus74zqj3huxnjbwtlg") Missing -> wisp.not_found() } }$

We just wrapped 5 days shooting my new short “Cyleen”. It stars myself, was co-written by @mayadeane.bsky.social (Wrath Goddess Sing), has a trans director and DP, and features a bunch of my actor friends from #TheChairCompany and classes around the city! Will have much more to share soon!

BTS selfie from a couple days ago. We wrapped last night. This has been the most challenging and creatively gratifying project of my life and I can’t wait for you to see it. More coming soon #cyleen
