Hey guys! Today we thought we'd share a super-exclusive sneak peek at how the background art is coming along for our game! 🤭 We really hope you like them, we worked hard on 'em! (Happy #Aprilfools! 💖)

A series of four very messy MS paint drawings of visual novel backgrounds; the joke is that none of them have much detail at all. The first one shows a river going through a forest and a bunch of formless trees with no leaves.

The second one shows some sort of shrine in the forest, with a statue of some kind set in a window in the side of the building. The trees are still hilariously missing all of their leaves and other details.

The third one shows the shrine from a different angle, displaying what looks like a sort of outside terrace or gazebo. Due to how it's drawn, it honestly looks more like a merry-go-round with none of the horses.

The last one shows the shrine again, this time with three headstones shown very prominently in the center, and a bunch of figures lying on the ground as though worshiping them. Again, due to how it's drawn, it's impossible to say if this takes place inside or outside the shrine. All four of these backgrounds are beautiful in their squiggly simplicity.
