it is legally* my birthday today! please consider destroying your day in my honor, preferably by reading my evil sitcom webcomic about a crew of smugglers who live in a post-apocalyptic Florida where everything is illegal. here's some stuff that is in it cargo.thecomicseries.com

A screenshot of a tumblr post. In text it says:

"You know the weird relationships you get with coworkers, where you’re forced to be near them and cooperate with them on some level for most of your waking hours regardless of how you feel about them? That’s what we’re dealing with here. I had a review describe it as “not found family, but found acquaintances” which. Yeah. Exactly. 😂😂

Some characters and relationships you can expect to see in Cargo:

An absolute mess of a man who micromanages his entire crew but especially the FIFTEEN YEAR OLD (!!!!!!) INDENTURED SERVANT (!!!!!!????????!!!!!!!!!!) (HELP HELP HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) (AHHHHHHHH WHY DID I LEAD WITH THIS ONE!!!!!!!)"

Underneath there is a pair of panels from the webcomic Cargo, the first shows a boy petting a cat and the cat purring. Off-panel someoe shouts "W'ere going to freeze and die!!" In the second panel a panicking man grabs the boy, shouting "Sorry! I'm just catastrophizing! We're not actually going to die!!"

A screenshot of a Tumblr post. Text at the top says:
"This old guy who works for them has MASSIVE MASSIVE beef with the boss lady because 10 years ago she framed him for a crime he didn’t commit which caused him to be in prison for years and years. But for some reason they still care about each other."

Underneath is a snippet of the comic showing a man and a woman smoking together. The woman gives the man a lighter that is engraved with the words "Hey SJ- use your own fkng lighter (this one is mine)-- Love Ginger". They don't talk.

A screenshot of a Tumblr post. Text at the top says:
"You know that tweet that’s like “a job will have you…” wait I can just find the tweet and show you guys. This one: a job will have you 18 with a 41 year old best friend "like damn where James at today?"

Well anyways. Cargo has that [relationship]. It’s between a guy who is a medical celebrity because he got the zombie parasite and then got cured and a very nice very violent old lady. They are the ship goofballs they are also probably the two most actively dangerous people here LMAO

Underneath is a snippet of the comic showing a woman looking exasperated as two cheerful friends (an old lady and a young man) walk toward her and wave her down.

A screenshot of a Tumblr post. Text at the top says:
"This kid who loves his cat and is doing his best to avoid give a single drop of his precious energy to engaging with the rest of these clowns." It is accompanied by a snippet of comic showing a boy feeding a cat from a spoon and then eating from the same spoon as people in the background yell at each other.

Then there's another bit of text that says "One of the characters did something that made my readers say this." with a graphic showing screenshots of comments, including "this is getting so scary, I thought he was useless", "what an absolute motherfucker", "quite possibly my favorite antagonist of all time", "he is terrifying", "horrific! new respect for this mercurial coyote", and "he's so baby boy"
