Eigenhector @eigenhector.bsky.social · 31/01/2025Are there use cases of GenAI people like that isn't generic AI slop? I've found short stories narrated on YouTube good if the content I written by humans and if the voiceover is good but bad if the stories are AI generated. 060
Eigenhector @eigenhector.bsky.social · 05/01/2025Yeah category error. The traditions I study don't consider intelligence to be the ineffable mystery but consciousness or sunyata or nirguna Brahman. Intelligence in traditions like yoga are hardly mentioned maybe under name and form and considered the outer layers of the mind I believe. 050
Eigenhector @eigenhector.bsky.social · 03/01/2025I'm just surprised the spicy kind made it to that part of the world! 000
Eigenhector @eigenhector.bsky.social · 02/01/2025Huh I didn't realize paprika is chili that got adapted by Hungarians. It's amazing how the peoples of the world adapt plants to their local environment. 140

Eigenhector @eigenhector.bsky.social · 24/12/2024How does feed ranking work here? Without algorithmic ranking does that mean one has to have a separate account for each topic? 310

Video models like Luma generate pretty videos, but sometimes struggle with 3D consistency. We can do better by scaling them with 3D-aware objectives. 1/N page: genechou.com/kfcw 311017

Eigenhector @eigenhector.bsky.social · 22/11/2024I don't like lists because it constrains people to only post on one topic. I hope they come up with some other mechanism for feeds that doesn't have this herding behavior. 210
Eigenhector @eigenhector.bsky.social · 21/11/2024This might only make sense under different axioms from physicalism such as yogachara mind only schools or Kastrup's analytic idealism where the brain is an organ of perception rather than a generator for consciousness. 000
Eigenhector @eigenhector.bsky.social · 21/11/2024I have sort of a related goal of exploring inner worlds using these models. For example the fire kasina phenomenology of the Theravada described in the Visudhimagga can be explored with a model of convolutional neural networks instead of biology. It's all a kind of psycho cosmology. 120
Eigenhector @eigenhector.bsky.social · 21/11/2024I like not skating where the puck is heading, be in strategic spaces is another alternative so whoever has the puck can redirect it to you when the time comes. 561

Eigenhector @eigenhector.bsky.social · 21/11/2024I am new to this platform too but it is built upon open protocols so in principle there might be something in the docs on how to run your own server and feed ranking. I don't know but the at protocol site is here atproto.comatproto.comAT Protocol 210
