Yes! It took me a few years to ‘trust the process’ if im honest 😅 Fallow times are still scary, but ever since realizing they’re a pattern, I’ve gotten better at enjoying the benefits and no longer stress as much

Between #amquerying the novel and participating in #RevPit I’ve been in the biggest writing slump ever (500 words written (on a new book project) in a month!) Such ‘fallow periods’ happen to me at the end of every meaningful project. They used to scare tf out of me.

Same! I love that several editors seemed like a great match for me/my MS. Picking the three I wanted to submit to wasn’t a difficult choice at all. (And the form only allowed a few words anyway so we had to be concise 😉)

Tip Time! I’m seeing a lot of long query letters. I suggest trimming your QL down to 300-350 words. I know, I know, it’s hard, but tighter query letters can give you bonus points when pitching agents. #RevPit #RevPitWaiting #RevPitTeaser
